Tyrone and Tommy meet the Gibbons at the Assiniboine Park Zoo!

The Gibbons were excited to meet Tyrone and Tommy at the Assiniboine Park Conservancy Zoo! And some of the kids visiting were also excited to meet Tyrone!

Those gibbons look so lovely! The last known time I had seen gibbons at a zoo was at the Seneca Park Zoo over in Rochester, NY back in 1994 when I was 9. The zoo has sure changed for quite the best since, especially when I went there sometime in 2011. When I first went to the Buffalo Zoo in 2005 when I was 19, they had a lot of interesting animals, and the last few times I was there, they had a small exhibit with wallabies (which are related to the kangaroo). I recall in 2008 and 2010, I had gone to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo where they had a really neat wallaby exhibit, and there was a zookeeper outside of the area where the wallabies were enclosed (behind a fence, that is) with a wallaby on his/her lap (in a blanket with one of those "housebreaking pads" intended for housebreaking puppies), and both times I went to that zoo, I got to pet the wallaby. I had a friend who, when I told her this, she asked me if the wallaby's name was Rocko (reference to Rocko's Modern Life, an animated show that used to air on Nickelodeon years ago in the states when I was in 3rd-4th grade).

I actually didn't know a Sichuan Takin existed until this video so thanks Tommy for teaching me something! I'm glad those kids were taught about approaching a service dog and asking the correct questions! Brings me hope for the next generation.
