Thank You!! I'm black too, if I watched a cartoon or read a comic about a character. And I saw clear as day they were shown or described as being white with brown hair, I was happy to see them in live action or in a different adaption looking the way I expected them to. Because that's how I saw them, and I like consistency. If they wanted to make more original black characters great, but this race swapping nonsense needs to end.

If they wanted to make more original black or brown characters, great, but this race swapping nonsense needs to end. And they don't get to falsely accuse people of racism when said people are totally okay with more characters of color but just not race-swapping already existing characters. They can create new characters from scratches who are black or brown or even gay or trans from the beginning, but they need to leave already existing characters (and their arbitrary characteristics like; race, gender, sexual orientation and gender identity) alone. They don't get to change a character's arbitrary characters 30 to 100 years after the fact and not expect any backlash and pushback. Like the brown Arab Peter Pan in the Peter Pan live-action movie (not to mention the brown Tinkerbell), they changed his race and skin color over 120 years after the fact (Peter Pan came out in theater for the firtst time in 1901 and might have been written before that), which is unacceptable. Peter Pan always was a white British boy who was born in London and then was taken to Neverland by Tinkerbell. Nobody should get to change his race and skin color, especially not 120 years after the fact. Mimi.

Some people have said that Jk was critizise back then cause HP didnt have enough diversity etc . I saw a lot of people reacting to it and they were from all around the globe and i never saw someone talking about this . But one thing to understand is that the movie and serie industry are all under this big company who give them rules to fallow to validate their project .
