I remember it from the Magical Project S: Pretty Sammy series. I forgot the name & number of the particular episode, but it was the episode where her parents put out flyers promoting Pretty Sammy's concert at their music store as a way to bring in more customers, but they did this without having ever met Pretty Sammy much less asking her & didn't know that she was their daughter. Then a TV station decided to get in on the act by building a bigger stage in the middle of the city. In the end, even though Pretty Sammy spent most of the episode hoping for a way out, she ended up singing anyway & this was the song.

The funny thing is that they DID know it was sasami is sammy. They were just playing dumb. the Dad confirms it in episode 25 and everyone in episode 26 @@19Pyrus70

@@talentlessartist7929 Someone saying that they knew your secret from the start at the end of the series can be suspect. Although her dad would be likely have known as he was super competent & observant in everything like maybe he had been a mahou shonen in his youth.

yeap. But also rememeber how when they were in the magic kingdom, his dad tells profesor Washu he knew sammy was his daughter sasami. This was before they all said they knew at her school! @@19Pyrus70

@@talentlessartist7929 Like I said, If anyone actually knew, it most likely would have been dad. To me, the rest of them are suspect. However, I once heard the claim that this series was also poking fun at the magical girl genre and from that viewpoint, everyone could have just been playing along.
