To everyone saying Vergil's version of Divine Hate sounds more aggressive: It does, from a theory standpoint! It's far more punctuated, similar to 'attacking' notes on woodwind instruments. Punctuating notes with pauses and using short, controlled bursts brings about a more aggressive sound, while longer notes sound more chillaxed and long-winded. It makes sense for the characters: Vergil, wanting more power and being very strict with himself, while Dante doesn't care and only does things when he has to, being a bit more lazy Hell, he had his fucking phone set up in DMC three so he could order pizza before he had even named the damn business

@@ghoulbuster1 I actually enjoyed DMC2, or at least the beginning half. Started getting a little bad at the end, but honestly it was the funny kind of bad you laugh at because it’s bad. Like Dante using a double sided coin just to make it so it looked like he didn’t actually care when really it was of his own volition.
