@@rainidayz5021 for the record Luke Getsy was Bagent's coach at the Senior Bowl, later the Bears sent Scouts to further review Bagent then Poles made the offer. Getsy is who showed the initial interest and will probably be the one to grab him from the Bears, word was he already tried and the Bears rejected him. Once Bagent's contact is up odds are he will be the Raiders QB1.

There's just no way Fields is better than Bagent. He was nearly was last season, and I think Bagent has surpassed him this season.. The Bears have real depth at QB this season.

NFL it's not really about physical gifts, it's about putting work in to improve your technique and mental processing and knowledge, moreso for QB's. They need to know what the def is likely going to do, and how his O is going to counter it.

I remember last year’s Tyson Bagent breakdown, where JT was pretty dismissive. Bagent was obviously on a short leash and was throwing a lot of swing passes and screens. He got to a backside in on one play, and JT seemed surprised and half-jokingly said, “Good for you, Bagent.” LOL What a difference a year makes. It’s nice to see how far he has developed.

I would not be surplice is someone is gonna try get him, the price obv depends on how much they need a qb, aka injurys or something. but my guess would be a player and maby a 2nd the thing is with Caleb in the team, they might let bagent go, cause the don't want qb spot to be open , IF Williams not know it out the park, this is my guess, that this season he is more avalibe to trade than last.

I get the WR being open in the back of the endzone, but he also has 3 db's between him and the QB. so we see him, but Bagent might not, and if he does might think it could be intercepted or tipped. Did throw the ball 2 hard, but RB still has to get hit hands on it.

Tyson Bagent is going to have excellent trade value when his rookie contract comes due. I want to see a lot more of Austin Reed in the final preseason game in Arrowhead Thursday night. Poles and his scouts just might have a thing going with rookie QB selections. lol!

Bagent is my personal favorite Bears player. I truly think he is not only the best QB on the team, but in Bears history (which isn't saying much). It will be bittersweet if/when we trade him. On one hand I'd love him for to stay with us, but the kid deserves a real shot at starting in NFL.

IMO it's when I knew JF was gone no matter what. Even w/out the #1 pick/Williams I think JF is gone and Bagent might get a shot against a less guaranteed rookie or vet. Don't see any reason for the Bears to look into trading him either. Let him cook and continue to get better, then trade him in his final year.

So true. On the same team in the same season Fields was 5-8, Bagent was 2-2. For fun let's say they both had .500 records in 2023 (even though they didn't). One of them was an UNDRAFTED DIVISION 2 ROOKIE FROM NOWHERE, and the other was an early first round pick in his THIRD NFL YEAR from a huge division one school...... It kind of makes things hard to say "all things being equal" who's the better quarterback. It's pretty obvious Bagent has something.

Tyson Bagent is a better QB than Caleb Williams. He understands the game better; he makes better throws. Sure, Williams has the bigger arm and probably runs better. But Williams is just another Justin Fields. Williams only makes throws on busted plays. He is not a pocket passer. Bagent could take the Bears to the playoffs. I don't know if Williams can do that.
