For anyone wondering why it sounds weird - for some reason the band are playing it in B major, four semitones higher than the original key of G major. This makes it much harder for a man to sing in his upper register, and meant Tyson couldn't find the melody all song. So don't blame Tyson, blame whoever chose the incorrect key.

The piano isn't in the wrong key, the pianist didn't give tyson a chord or starting note at the beginning and he started singing in the wrong key. It happens all the time on live gigs with singers lol

Joshua is the more compact puncher ,what usually works for Fury defensively will fall short here . Joshua going to land a bomb on him and it’ll be a combination most likely on the ropes where Furys height advantage usually works but AJ isn’t a midget and he’s not Wilder he’s going to throw punches not just one at a time and it’ll be behind a real jab . These are the guys Furys stopped within 6 rounds . Pianist is playing it in a different key to make it easier to sing for Tyson. song doesn't have to be in the original key for the performance to go well. Tyson just doesn't have a great ear for pitch and often goes off key, that and he looks nervous as fuck here.

Barney Makes Music yes and no, as tyson sings it a cappella (until this) it’s likely he sings it in just whatever range and key he feels more comfortable in naturally. Untrained singers do this all the times unconsciously when singing a cappella. Trust me Tyson had no idea what the key of the original is.
