Unbeaten heavyweight Tyson Fury delighted a packed Hand Arena in Clevedon, North Somerset with a TKO decision over New Yorker Vinny Maddalone.
Fury is the new WBO Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion and spoke to Nigel Turner Tv about his hopes for a fight with Wladimir Klitschko in the next 12 months

I've been watching Tyson progress with each fight. He is learning his trade and gets better and better with each fight. He out boxes his opponent with skill and doesn't wade in like a nutter. He is one to watch, a future world champion and a credit to the sport. I just wish all the arm chair critics and knobs would stop saying he is fighting nobodies. Look on Wikipedia Fury is English with Irish heritage. He has Irish relatives in Belfast and is proud of the connection. Don't forget initially Ireland refused to let him box for them in the Olympic games. Since then he has boxed both for England and Ireland as an amateur. Fury isn't only English and he isn't only Irish. He loves both..

difference is "son" chisora fought Fury one year ago, where as fury fought mcdermott in only his 8th fight won a questionable decision then rematched him 2 fights later where he beat him easily and knocked him out. You dismiss Chisora who clearly beat the european champion and then went the distance with the world number 2 as a credible fighter, but then state fury should be fighting price a 13 fight novice who even after 2 recorded defeats chisora is still ranked ahead of in the world rankings.

if chisora, who was robbed against helenius the european title holder, is good enough to fight for a world title; going the distance with vitali klitschko then classing him as a bum is daft. In Furys last 5 fights he's won the british title, Common wealth title, irish title and beaten a world title challenger he's a prospect what level did expect him to fight at? Seth mitchell has had 6 more fights and the best fighter on his record is ranked 39th in the world.

You can see, since the McDermott rematch, he's only gettin into shape.. he's still in the buildin process.. gaining experience! This isn't the fuckin UFC! They dont get thrown to the Lions! For someone who said he wanted to move on with his career he has fought boxers ranked 100 and 106 respectively in his last two fights. The blokes a bum and don't get me started on his fans. His improvements...I see nothing stamina wise nothing in terms of conditioning nothing in terms of punch variety nothing in terms of movement and that is because he hasn't fought anyone since Chisora I heard his mention Povetkin ect but he has made no effort to step up in competition, Price has improved ten fold both men are tall fighters who use their jabs to control fights you only have to watch Price vs Mcdermott their common opponent to see quality in a fighter, Fury is a joke.

David Price blasted out Mcdermott in one round so get real, Fury has not fought anyone other than Chisora in the top 25 although he has been rated there for long enough, Fury can beat another ten Rogans ect he still isn't going to be a legitimate contender for Klitschko, Price has been making a gradual improvement in competition including signing his half of the contract to fight Fury but you are a serious fanboy Fury hit himself with an uppercut just say no more seriously

You mean he HAD poor defence, horrible movement, little punch variety! How can you not see his improvement? Look at the variety of punch's he threw in this fight, look at his movement and look at his last five or so fight's and see how his stamina has improved! Your just fuckin stubborn! Ranked 6 with who? He's 9th with Ring, not in WBA's top 10, 14th in the IBF. He wasn't dropped heavily by Pajkic.. he got up right away. And if that's the case, what about Amir Khan gettin KO'd by Prescott?

Mcdermott won the first fight easily then in the rematch it was a complete war again very close until he was beaten by the better Fury you are clearly a fanboy I am yet to see him fight someone of any real worth Chisora was in terrible shape and won rounds where as Fury is a fat slob who gets touched by old cab drivers and dropped by nobodies with no punching power
