They don’t choose their own songs, the producers do. And then they will blame the singer for the song choice if it doesn’t go well. You can tell when producers are trying to boot someone out or stir up a better storyline, they give them an up-beat/pop song. Tysons voice is clearly suited for slower ballads or R&B and yet they give him a pop song

Tyson is a full performer. Sings beautifully, so much stage presence, engages the audience,nice personality, sings with different range of tones. He is a joy to watch. Hope he don't forget his words next time. I want him to win.

Tyson Venegas is a natural talent. He puts so much life to a song that it's Tyson singing and not anyone else. I got teary-eyed watching this clip when I was at the middle of it. Excellent performer. I hope he can make it to the finals and win this season.

Definitely one of the best contestants this season despite forgetting his lyrics. I know for sure he’s got lots more to offer and to surprise the judges with what he can do. Such a talented brilliant kid. He always blows my mind with his soothing yet powerful voice that never fails to give me goosebumps . I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Even Lionel Richie has forgotten lyrics to a song he has written! I remember him telling hunter that a few seasons ago when he forgot lyrics to a song he was singing! It happens lol and makes the artist more real.

But this is a competition. It would be unfair for others who are also sp talented and longing for a spot but was eliminated. He was disconnected to the song he is singing during hollywood week. I hope this would not happen again in the future, because he has really good potential for winning the show. I will rank him top 3. we ani is my rank 1 now.

i think, forgotten lyrics in competition is very crucial. I also local singer and joined some local competition, contestant who forgotten lyrics always losse and reduced points from judges. even u have a good quality. it's unfair he can step-up in the next stage. i choose cam for replace tyson.

Tyson is a beast. Forgetting lyrics is a bummer and can put many songers off completely. But he showed maturity in pulling it through okay. Definitely not his best, but sufficient. Hope this gives him a good wake up call. Because lets face it, he got something special. ❤❤❤

​@@RainyDayz1991yeah noticed that too. Here in Idol Philippines, only 1 Platinum ticket holder out of 4 made it to the Top 12. The other 3 had too much pressure on them being plats. I can also see that in Tyson. Eyes are on him being a plat so the pressure might have gotten all over his body. But I still have high hopes for this boy because undeniably, he has the most monstrous vocals in this batch.
