It's not that different as one might think. Native Americans most likely got into North America by crossing so-called Bering Strait Bridge, gradually making their way through territories that nowadays inhabited by the Inuit people, who also perform similar way of singing. Seems like this style is quite popular in that region and among peoples living there. As for the Celts, they are Indo-Europeans, means they'd originated not that far from Mongolia, Tibet and Tuva))
