The reload animations are pretty slick and cool , and the atmosphere is actually very impressive. The idea of getting "Garand thumb" sounds pretty bad to happen in the middle of combat, then I'm reminded of a WW2 vet's story at the Battle of the Bulge who dove for cover with his Garand in front of him. The rifle stuck in the ground and the stock bashed his lower teeth in, and the only thing he could do was pick it back up and keep fighting "countless Germans" in front of him.

Im not gonna say it was necessary for the MP28 but it did help with controlling the gun when firing from a prone or crouched position. Hey man, great videos as always as you're always keeping every reload as short yet as detailed as possible with every single one, just a little bit that I wanted to point out that the ambiance was kinda getting in the way of the weapon sounds, especially with those flies, maybe next time you could find a better map with possibly quieter ambiance, or at least one that doesn't have some triggering ones. Otherwise, great job as always. 😁

@@lordmuhehe4605 While you are right on that, which do you think would look better and act better in a video game; a 30 round stick mag with a 50 round extended drum mag, or a 20 round stick mag with a 30 round extended mag. That wouldnt make much sense, because while the m1a1 could accept the old 20 round mags from the m1928, the 30 round mags were standard, so why would the 20 round be the base? Also, since it is a fast firing weapon with low damage, it is more balanced to give it more bullets then less, so that way it can keep up with the other guns in the game

1:51 why is he holding on to the mag backwards, mega gross
@mark109k4 жыл бұрын
Seems that the soldiers that used that position, also for the MP18 in ww1, did that because it's useful when aiming from prone position, since the rifle doesn't had a bipod. With the hand holding backwards the soldier could lay the elbow on the ground and increase stability when firing from a prone position o a semi-covered spot. Regarding MP18, however a lot of germans held it in the center like most rifles, so holding the mag was just a way, not the only. Ofc I guess that every soldier used the rifle in the way he felt better.
