Very nice job on the video. Your sink looks exactly like ours. Do you happen to know the size/model number of it? I would like to move from a stainless steel to a shaded cast iron sink

I have the Moen model 7864EVSRS - The builder didn't install the AC adapter option and I only have the battery pack. I have only used the faucet for 3 weeks and the batteries are already dead. Is there a way to disable the sensors and just run it manually in old school handle control mode?

No because the handle does not actually control the water flow. It only sends electronic signals to the main unit to adjust the flow/temp. I would just replace the batteries. Sounds like they were no good. I have been running on the same batteries for about a year. So 3 weeks is way too short.

Nice guide. What is the size of shut-off valve please? Main hose is 3/8-inch but hoses for hot and cold water connected to the control box are smaller. I cannot connect them to my 3/8-inch shut-off valves. I tried reduction 3/8 to 1/4 inch but it does not fit. Thank you.

can't pair with Alexa either. It lets me enable the skill and launch from my phone but not the hub. Doesn't even discover it as a new device. If you find out any trick on how to pair it let me know.

Doesn't seem to be pex friendly out of the box.

I’m not sure how it wouldn’t be... the pex coming up under your sink should be terminated to a on/off valve. The braided lines from the faucet go into that valve. It should not matter if you have copper pex or cpvc. They all terminate to a universal on/off valve.

@@CiscoSal I didn't have a compatible stem to the supply lines, it was just a simple shut off on the straight pex line. I didn't want to, but had to use some pex shark bite valves to convert between the two.

@@CiscoSal Right off, it doesn’t work well with Google. Moen needs to work on that. 6 months later the hot water doesn’t work at all and our device keeps getting kicked off of the registry with the Moen app. It needs a lot of work before this will be a good product.
