@scorpio skull *Accept* live was amazing. They never disappointed back in the 80s because they never phoned it in. *Udo Dirkschneider* was/is a great front man, and original bassist *Peter Baltes* literally never stopped moving the entire time *Accept* was on stage. What a beast. Actually, the whole band was a beast back then, because *Wolf Hoffman* was on lead guitar, *Stefan Kauffman* was behind the drum kit, killing it (he's on rhythm guitar in *U.D.O.* in this video), and *Jörg Fischer* was back in the band on rhythm guitar. That for me was *Accept's* baddest lineup. Anyway. I saw *Accept* live several times in the 80s, mostly during my time in the Navy, and mostly during my first ship's yard period in Portland, Maine, in dry dock for about a year and a half, getting twin deck-mounted *Tomahawk* missile launchers installed. *(USS DEYO DD-989)* I saw them open for several bands, including *Krokus,* and, I think, *Dio* at least once, but it might have been another band. It was 1984/1985, so it's been a minute. (Actually, that *Krokus* concert was pretty killer, because *Rough Cutt* was the opener, then *Accept,* and then *Krokus.* *Krokus* might have been the headliner, but they had a bitch of a time following *Rough Cutt* *AND* *Accept,* both of whom were still young and way hungry yet. Worse? *Krokus* had just lost their badass double kick drummer and their long-time bassist, and their replacements left a lot to be desired. To be as kind as I possibly can be.) Also saw *Accept* in Lynn, Massachusetts, opening for Mötley Crüe on their *Theater of Pain* tour. Few of my fellow shipmates and I road tripped from Portland to Lynn one weekend we all had liberty. Helluva show, too. The only downside was *Y&T* were supposed to be there, too, and never made it, for some reason the promoters never really fully explained. But I think that was one of the other times I saw *Rough Cutt* live, too. There's a band that absolutely *SHOULD* have been huge. *Rough Cutt's* first two albums were kick-ass, and their live album was a beast, with three great brand new studio tracks for a 4th album with their original lineup that, sadly, never materialized. We had the best metal bands in the 80s, that's for damn sure.) Oh. Almost forgot. I believe *Accept* were already touring in support of their great *Metal Heart* album when I saw them live. So they always opened every show with *Metal Heart.* If you've never heard their live e.p. *Kaizoku-Ban,* which they recorded live during their tour through Japan? Definitely worth checking out. Just goes to show what a killer opening number *Metal Heart* truly is.

Udo will close his Accept-book with his last "Dirkschneider"-Tour 2016. Than he will never sing official Accept-songs anymore but only U.D.O. songs. Sad bad true. I will hope he change mind... but when I hear his last statments, so the reunion 1993 was for him in the end a worst case. It is to much broken betweehn him and Gaby, Peter and Wolf. Sad... :-(

Accept have been back together for about ten years and have put out four amazing albums. I know that there are some Accept fans that don't accept Mark Tornilo in the band but there are many that do. Udo Dirkschneider will always be considered the classic Accept singer and has made many timeless classics such as Restless And Wild, Balls To The Wall, Breaker, Metal Heart, and Russian Roulette. In my opinion Mark Tornilo has made future classic albums with Accept such as Stalingrad and especially Blood Of The Nations and Blind Rage. Udo Dirkschneider has an amazing thing with U.D.O. and I love all their albums too, especially Animal House, Faceless World ,Timebomb, Holy, and Steelhammer. Both bands are still putting out amazing music and are still phenomenal live in concert.

It is definitely not live and the production sounds very robotic to me. Udo Dirkschneider even said that Stefan Kauffman started using alot of computers in production sometime in the early 2000's and that it the production did not sound natural. I remember when I got the live album Mastercuter Tour Live that it sounded so strange to me and every album that has come out after did also until Stefan Kauffman left the band and stopped producing U.D.O.'s albums. The last few albums since sound amazing and natural. The first live album Live From Russia and Steelhammer Tour Live in Moscow sound so much, much better than this show.
