I loved the fact that they had the balls to arrange it and play it! In my opinion bands don’t play a lot R&B anymore so this was very refreshing, so was brandy and the tyrese arrangements! Hate it or love it, they were clearly committed to it and made it through much better than most bands! 🤷🏾‍♂️

My only critique is that the trombones and euphos do some vibrato on that It’s Okay Girl part of the lyrics, but other than that, that’s a badass arrangement and could be the best so far. Good job from a SU fan.

As a Htown and SWAC representative, I like the idea of this one but I feel this one could have been pushed back for a week or two. Y'all crushed my Storm on Labor Day 2022. That "What You Need" by Don Tolliver last year put me on notice but this one is still in the process. I believe this song will be better executed down the road but it has some kinks to get worked out. I'm not a band instrument expert but a live music fan and I applaud the effort. Keep grinding students and that you Mr Simmons for making things interesting. I remember when TSU had no band because it was suspended, so to see it now, very impressive. Great improvement on the production quality too media team!

Sounds like some old school New Orleans stuff. I could imagine this being played at Pan Am back in the day. Wouldn’t mind hearing this at a faster tempo but it grooves where it is. Also, Great film work and editing to the TxSU team of their coverage during the game 👍🏾.

The Motion looks great but I didn't like the arrangement of Usher's song. I couldn't tell what song that was until the very end and I'm sure some of the crowd felt the same! It took too long to get to the chorus.
