The xdrive would of won. The xdrive 0-60 is 2.8 sec and the RWD is 3.4.. which u guys ended up getting 3.7 .. so it's a massive difference. I watched the end. If u see the leaderboard at the end of the m3 comp xdrive that they ran is in 9th place beating the 5N time. The m4 xdrive as shown in vids is a little faster then the sedan m3. All this video showed was the m4 had better brakes and lost due to being the RWD version. U guys didnt even mention once these facts. Not once. Thats quite annoying. I5N is great. Hyundai 5 seats all round family suv beats bmw M4 !!! I know the ceramic breaks are great but too expensive for normal drivers. I5N doesn't need it as it has 0.6G regenerative breaking. More to come.. Ioniq6N and Magma...etc.. Can't wait to see them.

@@PEACEOUTXX1 Yeah but after they turned around homie, the M4 was slightly ahead going into the roll race finale, and the Smurf reeled it in ;) X-files Drive isn't going to help you there... in fact it will hinder. Xdrive would only get a better launch (60 ft. & 0 - 60 time which helps the 1/4 obviously) which hopefully would keep it ahead till the end. Yet to be seen live not leaderboard... just like I'm waiting for a valid 10s pass from I5N to match the M3P :D Leaving the LCI 2025 out of this, Xdrive Competition or Rwd Competition = same Engine HP and Torque figures, but different drivetrain losses. M4 Rwd G82 100 - 200 kph ~7.6s M4 Xdrive G82 100 - 200 kph ~8.2s (according to fast laps). xDrive models are often heavier, and slightly less efficient. However, they achieve better 0 - 60mph and 60 ft times.

Hey Edmunds... You still don't know how to win more definitely. You should do N battery preconditioning->DRAG MODE ON. Then you can get the best performance in short distances. And turn it on in N Padal setting. Use 3rd gear. Then you can get more powerful braking. And press NGB button when starting off, and press NGB button again right after cornering. NGB button works best at low motor RPMs. Then you can use the full power.

The Xdrive version of the M4 puts up slightly faster and at worst same 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile times as the Ioniq 5 N. As close as this race was with the RWD M4, no one with a brain can say the Xdrive version has no chance.... They should have used an Xdrive M4 Comp.

If you really want to talk about the brake, you should have driven Taycan or Plaid instead of 5 N. At least for now, 5 N is the ONLY EV that can full on race nurburgring nordschleife for TWO laps in a row and even some more without any brake and battery fail. Also just recently, one stock 5 N and two 5 N TA spec did a new record run on Pikes Peak International Hill Climb as well. Of course, there is no chance that the brake gets cooked by just a couple of drag races, so please stop lying.

@@wizardindustriesusa Yea and it wasn't the m4 xdrive version. The xdrive would of won. The xdrive 0-60 is 2.8 sec and the RWD in this vid got 3.7 .. so it's a massive difference. If u see the leaderboard at the end of the vid the m3 comp xdrive that they ran is in 9th place beating the 5N time that got 12th. The m4 xdrive as shown in vids is a little faster then the sedan m3. All this video showed was the m4 had better brakes and lost due to being the RWD version. U guys didnt even mention once these facts. Thats quite annoying.

The heat killed the M4 power and boosted the 5N. That’s what’s cool with EVs is that the better/hotter the weather is the quicker they get, which is completely the opposite with ICE cars

It's amazing how quickly Hyundai has advanced their vehicles since the Excel back in the 1980's. 11.1 1/4-mile and also hitting higher top speed than the M4 on the return is just amazing.

U clearly don't know cars and just watch results 😂 .. that edmunds u drag was vs a RWD m4 and not the XDrive.. it was an AWD vs RWD and the m4 still almost won. If u watch till the end they show their leaderboard and the m3 comp XDrive is sitting in 9th place, while the 5N got 12th place. Clearly the lighter car then the m3, if the m4 coupe was the XDrive version it would of won easily in that race. Next time learn about cars before u speak.

First the hyundai braked too late. Then the BMW braked too early. Shouldve also had an AWD M4 up there. If they launch that evenly the AWD version would jump out in front and by the time the hyundai caught up it would be time to brake.
