Now, I don't know whether Rex was set up, or whether he was just being lazy, but this all could be fixed by actually signing god damn contracts beforehand. This shit should be handled like boxing fights. You sit all involved parties down, talk it through, agree on the terms (location; length of rounds; amount of rounds; payment; expenses, etc. etc.) put it to paper, have the league's heads and the participants sign it and hand each party a copy of the contract. If something is to change, all three parties need to agree to it and change the contract accordingly. You don't even need lawyers for that. Damn. When I watch a battle I come to see two people perform and spit, everyone talking about mixtape bars from last year and this and that etc. cut it out, watch the battle for what it is and that's it.
