Because I've been trying to find out this song again for 31 years with my childhood friend as we still remember the 1st 2 lines of the starting song.... Seattle fan here. Shellie Hart used to play this in the early 2000s on the Kube 93 old school lunch. Sometimes I would tape the show when I stayed home sick during middle or high school. One of those tapes made it so I could add this song to my playlists.

1989-1990. I lived in Nebraska. Had the cassette single and played this and the different mixes nonstop in my car. Found a vinyl version of the single mixes about a year ago, and purchased immediately. It's just a great song.

Finally found it here and still like the song but found my cheeks getting rosy hot of embarrassment (I do not embarrass easy) after watching this video and their clothes and dance moves.
