My afternoon was well spent today doing nothing but listening to Muta. This for me was one of his best interviews to my all time hero and inspiration, the Mighty U. ROY. I was suckled by the words, sound and power of Sir Coxen sound in 70s London listening to U Roy. Excuse me while I take a trip down memory lane. Yeh! Yeh! Yeh! As I would say.

I remember hearing U-Roy as a youth in the 70's and knowing U-Roy was doing the best and original thing. Vibes the lion did a give because i couldn't understand but one and two words! Still the energy was there to skank and flash fi yuh locks (or at least pretend you had locks) and maybe hold a baby close for a minute or two. Fawaad and Fiyakka U-Roy! WOW @57:45! URoy live in studio!

many would say that daddy U-Roy started it but lets not forget the Toasters (now known as Deejays) back then likeCount Machuki and King Stitt who both played an integral role in developing what is now Dancehall Reggae, a big shout out goes out to those unknown toasters back then who were not recognized for their contributions to the bizness and also producers and promoters also. Maximum ras-pect also goes out 2 Prince Jazzbo, I-Roy, U-Brown, Big Youth, Ranking Trevor and Ranking Joe.
