Great tutorial, It works fine! a note to add though to those saying it isnt working for them is to make sure and double check that your texture replacer file is the latest version (currently 1.1) and not an older version of the file or the textures will not appear

Thanks for mentioning this. I was pretty bummed out, knew I had followed the directions perfectly, but I still had all the old products. Put in the new TextureReplacer files, and everything new is there. Now, to move on to the addons with their own licenses. Thanks again.

It's kind empty becoz u giving lot of gap in talking which makes video kind of missing something.... If there is no gaps in talking this video will be 3 mins..... U can give gaps for paragraph but not for every 2 or 3 words

@@waduheklite3800 ill try to work on that but I don't script these videos so I'm actively thinking about what to say while speaking. which probably explains the gaps. on another channel I tried my hand at scripting and the results weren't great either lol. im just kind of a bad public speaker overall apparently

It did not work. The texture replacer folders products icons and names was empty when i downloaded it, so nothing in there to replace.

@@waduheklite3800 That doesn't bother me at all. It is an instructional video, and the small gaps are there so we can follow the instructions on our own pc as we go.

Make sure you have the latest version of TextureReplacer installed. Had the same problem, but after replacing that, it worked perfectly.

My products have changed the texture but the item sign thats on the shelf still shows the old texture. How do I make it so the labels on box and shelf match the new texture?

You gotta move over the icons too. Into the product icons folder. There should be a product names folder also

Its weird cause it shows the name brand in the computer and on the boxes but when im stocking its still the basic brands base game has i did everything the same why isnt it working

Thanks for this -- I am pretty new to modding anything because I generally see mods as cheats. This would be an exception to that rule as the impact is visual only. The only concern / question I have is that as the game updates & goes from Early Access to full release, will I have to continuously monitor and update this mod as it updates over time? Or would this mod potentially break my save file?

i dont think that will be a concern with this game. you will have to re installl mods from time to time when they are updated but they are easily removed if they break and have little tangible affect on the stability of the game save itself. in this mods case you are literally just moving around PNGs

Thanks for sharing man! I didn't even know modding this game was possible until i discovered you. Watched like 8 of your videos and got a lot of mods up and running :) On a side note- if you were to wanna go back to the old (stock) products texture pack, is it possible and how? (perhaps instead of replacing the files at the destination if you moved them elsewhere you could swap it out? I'll have to test this theory sometime)

It's simple just delete all of the other pngs. Transfer them to a named folder you can easily locate. Then just delete them all. Once they are gone the game will read its default files

​@@2CentsPlusYup, that worked, thanks!! also, I'm not able to get "portable scanner" and "pause stockers" mods to work. I've installed them and unpacked them just as they need to be under the right framework too. still nothing. any chance you know what's up?

@@itswartortl5909 the only advice I have is to make sure the pause restockers mod is in the MLLoader/Mods folder and the activation button for that is "pause break" on your keyboard Scanner one should be in Bepinex/Plugins folder and the default for that is the scroll wheel click.

​​@@2CentsPlus yup, just rechecked it. both of them are where they should be. i actually ended up changing the config for portable scanner from mouse to Tab and it works perfectly fine now. Pause Restockers on the other hand just doesn't seem to work

I want the Land O Lakes with the lady on it. Taking her off was rude. What I came her to find out was how to use the textures but when I load my game it still shows the original and now I don't want the US brands anymore so I won't be adding it.

Is this just textures/visual change? Like does it also change the name of the items via game menu and dialogue?

If you make sure when installing the mod that all of the proper files are transferred correctly. The visuals its name and the icon on the boxes and in the computer will all change

The game itself had a new update, so yes, many mods arent currently working at the moment

@@passionfruittsss that one is up in the air unfortunately. Many different modders are making mods on the nexus and its really up to them whenever they decide to update them. If they decide to do it at all

go to your game directory bepinex/plugin/texturereplacer folder again and delete everything but the .dll file. then go back to the mod and drop the textures, icons and names folder into that folder and let me know what happens

@@ShepQueen I wish I could help further. The only way to do it is the way I showed and what's explained on the mods page. My only other suggestion would be to do a complete reinstall and start the installation porcess from scratch
