A United States Marine Checkpoint in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, is ambushed by a technical, multiple RPG squads, and a suicide bomber. While the Marines had the capabilities to handle the situation, it had ultimately failed due to a lack of numbers. After it had fallen to the Taliban, the checkpoint was then bombed by F-16's, shortly after that, it was peppered by two M1A2 Abrams, and other military units. A minute after the bombing, the First Infantry Division of the United States Army had retaken the checkpoint from the Taliban and despite heavy resistance and with the help of frequent support from AH-64E Guardian Apache's, the United States Army was able to retake the checkpoint and place it back in NATO control.
