As I see this commercial I feel a sudden wave of pride and gratitude even though I'm not an American born person. Everytime I see non Americans comment or say that they wish death upon these brave men and women or anything negativity towards the military it disgusted me in such a way because some don't even make it 💔💔 I want to thank each and every soldier and veteran and even the fallen for serving YOUR country 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 you will never be forgotten in the eyes of Americans and myself God bless America ❤️💙

My father served during World War II and the Korean War as an officer in the United States Navy. Two months ago, I laid him to rest at Arlington Cemetery. It was one of the saddest, yet proudest moments of my life. There is no more noble cause than to serve your country. To the young man entering boot camp and all others who aspire to serve, God bless you. Your country owes you a tremendous debt of gratitude.

Dude don't even think like that. I failed to meet my height and weight for boot camp twice and it devastated me, but I took that failure and short coming and worked my way through and I made it. as long as you don't give up on yourself then the drill instructor will never give up on you. Even now that I am out of the Corps I still love the experience that I had. A Marine isn't determined by their physical status before boot camp but the effort and unwavering resolve does.

These adverts are 20 times better than the ones we have in the UK. The Royal Marines have good ones, but the Army are too focused on being politically correct , so they are , instead of stirring patriotic and nationalistic feeling, they are appealing to emotions and feelings. I mean the ones over here are looking more like a bloody Samaritans ad rather than an ad promoting a fighting force! If you're gay, then your gay, no-one will think anything of it, it's your life. If your depressed then obviously the forces will have necessary things in place to ensure you are well looked after. I really envy the US forces adverts! They are genuinely striking at the heart of duty to country. No wonder in the UK have a recruiting crisis!

You know it's crazy when ip was a kid, I used to see these marine commercials come on after my cartoons finished and I used to never want to be a marine, I had no interest for it in other words. Almost 11 Years later who knew that I would end up in the process of enlisting to join the marine corps.. All I can say is its amazing what can happen in a few years from being that scared 8 year old kid to becoming that fearless 18 year old man who knew he had to prove himself and take on the challenge and become a marine. I'm British, a few years till I'm old enough to move to America and join up. I really don't know if the USMC is for me though, it's easier to get in than our Royal Marines. I think I'd want to join the US army as a EOD specialist or something 'special'. Not just a normal flipping soldier.

USMC is harder to get in than RMC plus if you aren't sure, it isn't for you

Go to a recruiter. Most likely you'll be in the delayed entry program to build up strength before you enter bootcamp. My recruiter told me it's okay if I'm not a good swimmer as he didn't even know how to swim himself. The swim DIs will teach you; swim DIs aren't like the regular DIs.
