As a retired Navy guy myself, I simply marvel at the talent of this group. Being a Seabee myself, i was like “nah, they got it easy. But you don’t achieve such professionalism and awesome talent without dedication, commitment and ❤️ from the heart to give back to your country. God Bless the Navy band and all our men and women serving today. Just wish they could travel further south.

How do I wish when I was at Recruit Training in San Diego in 1968, and assigned to the Navy Recruit Choir, Did a representative from The Sea Chanters not come to one of our practices, listen to us sing, and let those of us who wanted to, audition for a chance to become a Sea Chanter. I would've been first in line.

Great songs. But I want to thank the Navy for your medical help aboard the Hospital ship. I am sorry, but I won't thank you for the voyage on the flat bottom from Nam to Okinawa that was supposed to be 4 day and took 9. I know you could not stop that typhoon, but you are crazy to want to be on ahip. I will take the jungle any day. haha
