FirstPost here is a bit of context : the NPT (non-proliferation treaty) allows countries to stock and enrich Uranium for civil use. The JCPOA restricted it to Iran, to a limit of 300kg uranium enriched at 3.67% and other conditions. However uranium enrichment cannot be halted. So a country must sell its enriched uranium on the market. Iran was authorized to sell their 3.67% enriched uranium on the market but the sanctions put on Iran forbid them access to the international uranium market as a seller. So they were condemned to enrich it above the JCPOA agreement, but as the JCPOA was more restrictive than the NPT Iran was still compliant to the NPT treaty. It's why in Nov. 2019 Iran enrichment increased. The US wish to return to the negociation table hasn't started with Anthony Blinken but with Mike Pompeo ("To Pressure Iran, Pompeo Turns to the Deal Trump Renounced" New Yor Times (April 26, 2020 New York Times). The reason is that the JCPOA allows the US to implement an arms embargo against Iran if they are out of the deal that is binding all united nations countries: the USA simply want to revive the deal to activate the arms embargo of Iranians weapons that are today sold to... Russia. Also in October 2023 a set of sanctions banning missiles sales should be lifted. So renewing these sanctions is the ultimate goal of the US. On the Backstory of the Iran Nuclear Deal. For reminders, Iran complied to the JCPOA all along, in the 16 jan 2016 UN lift the sanctions : there was 15 inspections by the IAEA confirming it didn't enrich uranium above the JCPOA requirement. But the West don't respect its agreement, Trump doesn't lift any sanctions on Iran, aligning with Israel unproven claim that Iran was 'close to the bomb', a claim relayed many times by Pompeo. As for Israel positioning, The 30 apr 2018 Netanyahu reveals 'secret archives' proving that Iran was building a bomb but it was actually a 2002 very old document and they were already known by AIEA in 2005 and published in 2011(AIEA Board of governors 8 nov 2011 GOV/2011/65)... After this the claim will be relayed again and again based on nothing in media. Much like the WMD of Irak or Colin Powel showing the world vials in a theatrical way... Yet in 2012 the CIA and Mossad are in agreement upon the fact that Iran never decided to build a bomb (Haaretz 18 03 2012 / New York Times 25 02 2012). In sept 2012, in front of the UN general assembly Netanyahu yet announce that Iran will have the bomb in summer 2013. Trump will withdraw from JCPOA one week later with a tweet explaining that Iran secretly enriched Uranium. Also the JCPOA article 26 says : "Iran declared that a reintroduction of sanctions (annexe II) or new sanctions as a motive for total cessation or partial cessation of the application of the JCPOA". This article included by Iran and agreed upon by the West was because they knew the West could maintain sanctions despite Iran compliance. So the withdrawal of Iran from JCPOA after the West broke their engagement against UN decision is actually a clause for Iran in the JCPOA signed by the West. So did the West just wanted to force Iran to walk out ofthe deal? Most likely. The 31 May 2019, the AIEA confirm again that Iran was under the 3.67% limits (31 may 2019 GOV/2019/21). Gina Haspel, Director of the CIA will also confirm it in january 2019, while audited by the Senatorial Commission (C Span 29 01 2019). It's very similar to the Ukraine crisis where it was in this case push Russia to intervene, never applied agreements (JCPOA/Minsk 2) and the need that the adversary make a move first when cornered to, for easily feed the public opinion that we are peace keepers and rogue states are dangerous even when unprovoked. Iran is pushed to a corner where it is under sanctions while complying to international laws : they can enrich but can't sell it's already enriched uranium so they can't stop proceeding, and it will give the West "a reason" to intervene militarily. Iran is already on the hit list of regime changes wanted by the West since the end of the 90's.

@@ngkeam9491 Thanx for asking for tangible proofs of Palki's objective reporting! First and foremost, she's only one in a long panoply of my favourite professional news presenters. When in search of truthful news items, I utterly rely on the likes of Lumumba, Chomsky, Mearsheimer, Podzner, Sachs, Mercouris, Christoforou, Brian, Danny, Arnab Goswami, Vijay Prakash, Scott Ritter, George Galloway, MacGregory, Amy Goodman, Bercoff, Jacques Baud, Asselineau and many other incorruptible new faces ... to mention but a few. What I admire in this lady is she's uncompromising and intrepid when it comes to telling the naked truth without diluting or expurgating any details. If you dare to listen to her presentations without letting your emotions overshadow your logical reasoning, you'll undoubtedly realise that each statement she makes is almost always referenced to reliable and long-established sources of information. And that to me is not part of the sensational yellow press where msm reporters want to sell us forcibly their wishful thinking and dreams as reality. So far, her reporting fits my tastes and those of others; judging from the comments sections below each of her prolific videos. Perhaps a debate on tastes and on likes is not unalike to a very controversial issue with each debater sticking to his/her guns to the bitter end. @@ngandosambalundula2028 - thanks for your prompt replies. dubious to me if this anchor Palky is impartial in her reportage on issues on China, Russia, Iran and most of the Socialist in this globe! there are so many current controversial issues, she sneers and taunts on, like "Wuhan Virus", she reports it with a scorn, as if it is a truth! you label her as unbiased! Jeffry Sachs refutes it, stating something fishy/phony as he is in the Lancet Committee. pertaining to alleged "Xinjiang genocides", she radically condemns China as if it is a fact, despite AP denies it, obviously there might be some misdeeds committed, who knows. but to accuse China of genocidal acts is outrageous! she is just following the bandwagon to me in her reportage! with reference to recent pro-democratic movements in Hong Kong, she also curses China for its despotic stance, but deliberately ignoring who is inciting and orchestrating behind the scene, yet you believe she is objective ? she also blames the brutality of Hong Kong polices, on the contrary, its the protesters heinous crimes committed against the enforcements! on topics on Taiwan, Tibet , India border conflicts, she is adamantly prejudiced..............I doubt her unbiasedness. all things considered, she is pro-Western and pro-India, undeniably to me!

@@ngkeam9491 Shocking revelations if your assertions on China are to be proven accurate. Having been born and bred in India, isn't it only natural to pledge some; if not full; support to one's motherland regardless of any other considerations? As for her being pro-western, I'll take that with a fat pinch of salt, for I firmly believe and without reservations that she's rather a pro-truth and pro-justice left, right and centre. Meanwhile, let's continue assessing her quotidian updates because they're quite informative and educative in more than one way.
