@@CookWithHemaAdiga i think i soaked rice in excess n hence the consistency was thick...but everyone enjoyed having this ..next time, I'll make sure i soak maybe a little less of rice ( i soaked 2 spoons this time). Once again thank you for uploading this recipe. The aroma of asaphotida and the cumins were excellent 👌👌👌👌...take care n keep uploading more n more videos 🙏🏼🙂 i had my food just a while ago..n ioved it too... children also loved it 🙂🙏🏼🙏🏼💐💐

Panasonic mixer I am using from past 5 years. It is really good. Now you get many varieties in Panasonic mixer. Compact ones. I have three jar mixer. I feel 3 jar is sufficient. Hope this information helps 🙏

ಖಂಡಿತ. ಮಜ್ಜಿಗೆ ಹುಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಳೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಲ. So, ಹುಳಿ ದಪ್ಪ ಬರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೈಸೂರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸೈಡ್ ಕಡಲೆ ಬೇಳೆ ಹಾಕ್ತಾರೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಉಡುಪಿ ಕಡೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಹಾಕ್ತೀವಿ. Since we do not use lentils/dal to make the Majjige Huli thick, we need to use either rice or Chana dal to thicken it a bit for better taste and consistency. Hope this clarifies.
