In this particular reading, I'm the knight of disks, and the queen of swords is my stepdaughter. When my wife died, we became very close and she didn't want let me date anyone. We're not blood related, so we actually had very strong chemistry, but after three months she started pulling away, and then ghosted me. She does have an older sister, but we never got along- if she's the one who drove a wedge in between us, it was just out of jealousy. I wasn't anyone's lover, I was just treating her like a girlfriend (taking her out to nice restaurants, buying her gifts on Valentine's Day, sending flowers, stuff like that) because she was spending all her time with me, she was sort of a wreck and obviously had very low self-esteem after being stuck at home for years through that whole "Covid" debacle. In any case, that's over now- she was shitty enough to me that god sent someone new right to my door that actually suits me better and is a lot more fun for me to be around... also closer to my own age, but still young enough to have children. I don't know what possessed me to think that a 17 year old and a 45 year old CEO would make a good match, but I'm over it now- at least I had the good sense to not sleep with her when she was underage or I'd probably be in jail right now... she was really lazy, and I think she just wanted a sugar daddy. The new lady actually knows how to navigate a long term relationship, works well in a team and enjoys actually doing more than sitting around watching tv shows. She's not obviously wealthy, and doesn't seem to be greedy- we're both survivalists, so she loves picking the fruit in my yard and making jams and pies, and our first date was going out fishing. I offered to hire her directly and let her move in already, because my house is too big for me to keep up with on my own, and her energy is compatible with mine, which is kind of rare- if it goes well, we can share the bedroom downstairs, if not, I'll put a locking door, kitchenette and bathroom upstairs and rent her it to her as an apartment as my maid/assistant- that's where having a two-story house with four bedrooms really shines. I'm glad to hear my girl is going to end up happy- I never prayed to get her back, but I did pray that she would heal and ascend- she always was kind of a "daddy's girl," and I truly do care about her- not necessarily as a wife (though admittedly, I had entertained that idea,) but as a daughter and that's never going away even if she was a brat. I was always clear when I was treating her like a girlfriend that I was doing it so that she would understand how she deserves to be treated, because her self-esteem was obviously in the toilet- but after four months of her being jealous and cock-blocking me, she had to go figure her shit out somewhere else.... I couldn't keep spending every waking moment cleaning up after two young adults who just didn't want to bother helping while I paid all the bills, drove them everywhere and was going crazy from sexual frustration because a young woman kept asking me for sensual back rubs with no happy ending. It got even worse when it became clear she expected me to maintain a place for her to live while she went to college, when I've been grinding hard on improving my guitar skills and rehabilitating my voice for the past decade. I want to be a musician, not a housewife whose money from decades of work is being controlled by an impulsive teenager with mood swings, and 45 is late enough to be trying to break into that without waiting even more years for a kid to go fuck around at a community college- that was supposed to be her mom's job... I loved her, but she had become a bad alcoholic, and I sort of intended to divorce her when the youngest graduated anyway.
