Me too, I feel exactly the same, it’s just noisy. I somehow wanted Harris Jayaraj for this. An album like thupakki with how the poster looked. Something classy for GOAT, not this….. I liked the last bit with the 3 dancing, the expressions and vibe between them seems cool, so still have hopes for the movie. I just feel U1 has not been delivering for a long time. Someone else would have been better. And the lyrics were really random and absurd. The last time I heard dope lyrics were for Vikram songs Hukum and for Vijay was Beast Mode. Beast mode song is truly amazing, hyped me up for the movie. The movie is another story. But the song was dope.

Yeah, a blockbuster refers to the movie itself. The actual video of the songs from the movie count a lot to the movie quality and the box office performance because it's all about the execution being used in the film. A blockbuster means if the film itself is very well-executed overall in terms of everything that is filmed. The lyrical video may not be a hit, but the execution of that portion of the film (actual videos) can possibly be a hit and can possibly be delivered greatness.

I totally feel the same way about the song, I felt it’s bad! The only good thing about it is the last bit where all the three big stars danced together and it’s the only part that got me hyped! I expected a lot from Yuvan, I’m disappointed by the output of this song! Hopefully the rest of the songs from the album do justice to the movie! The instrumental overlayed vijay's vocals and turns out loud, Certain lyrics were really unnecessary.. Other than that, like as everyone agrees, the last bit was only good, so I wouldn't really call this a banger at all.. Yuvan messed up with this one..

Btw, Shazne, I'm starting to not like Whistle Podu because in my opinion, as a politician, he's struggling in politics and feel like K. Annamalai would win 2026 elections, and I don't think thalapathy as a politician would win 2026 elections . (Thalapathy wrote 1 line in his press statement about CAA calling it "unacceptable" and K. Annamalai pointed out it's not enough power to say such 1 line about it) But I have huge respect and admiration for Thalapathy as a cinema star since he's a highly successful actor in Kollywood I ever know. Now when it comes to political bs in Madhan Karky's lyrics, it kinda reminds me of how much Thalapathy struggles in politics since he's a highly successful and talented actor in Kollywood. Not only that, it also reminded me about Kamal Haasan who has destroyed his politics a lot for joining the DMK containing a lot of frauds, before he came back to acting fully. It made me not want to listen to it no more. I'm so fucking tired and sick of hearing politics bro. I think Venkat Prabhu should've reminded and alerted the music composers about the difference between lyrics connecting to the audience of the film (reel) and the lyrics connecting to the real life politics Thalapathy's entering in. I also hope there is no cutaways in Whistle Podu actual video song or any other actual video song from the movie from the film like cutaways happened for Naa Ready song that Lokesh sir made for Leo. If cutaways happen again in GOAT movie, and I think it would no longer be a blockbuster status for that movie if this happens. And if that happens, then like you said, VP should stop fucking around with Thalapathy
