Oh wow! It looks The Edge is using a wide ring for a slide, or rather as a slide? I was rolling the first 30 seconds of his playing over and over to see. That's wild!!! You can only imagine the skill and precision it takes to slide a string with a slide only as wide as a string! I swear the guy is a pioneer of everything guitar. Greatest band of all time! (for me :D)

No viewer asked for it. Show designer and band manager thought it was fair for guys sitting at 50 Eur in back seats listening to radio sound this was their value for price. I guess. Typical for over-volume shows while essential thing is to see the band and feel to be in the concert. This is no concert beyond 500 ppl, this becomes media show. 😢

I know the city was still in mourning during this show but the crowd seems very subdued. I was at one of the October, 2001 shows at MSG (forgot the date but it was the Thursday night show & I remember No Doubt opening.) This was 6 weeks after the 9/11 attacks and the show was a celebration of life. The crowd was alive. Who knows? Don't want to take a cheap shot at the French and compare one attack to the other but just saying very subdued.

It’s either a backing track and/or Terry Lawless under the stage. He is the pianist who tours with them. Also, Edge pre-loops effects and backing tracks on his rig at his feet. So it’s any combination of the above.
