U2 somehow stepped outside of the boundaries of time when they wrote this song, and that entire album really, it's utterly timeless. People will still be talking about it and playing it many many many years from now. Nice to see younger generations enjoying and feeling the feeling all these years later.

I guess I wasn't confused by the last reaction. You had NEVER heard U2? Oh wow. I find that just so unbelievable. U2 is the band of generations now. I have been listening to them since their first album, "Boy". Saw them at Red Rocks in Denver. when I was 16 in 1983. If you have never seen a live U2 performance at least find a live video. Their contribution to rock cannot be understated. You have about 40 ish years of music to catch up on.

My favorite U2 song. It's on their Joshua Tree album. They worked on this album in Joshua Tree California...near the National Park. They worked on this album in Joshua Tree. I use to live a few miles away for a time. I think u should react to "When the Streets have No Name". It's on the same album and they made the video Live on top of a liquor store in LA California! Patrick u made his high notes near the end!👍♥️

This track has always been burned into my memory since the year it was originally released when my late wife and I were in a very turbulent relationship snd she was pregnant with our first and only child. Whenever I hear this song I see my late wife who was at that time my girlfriend standing in a train traveling between Reading and London on her way to meet up with me at Paddington station when she unfortunately almost had a miscarriage and I had to rush her to a local hospital. Thankfully, our unborn daughter was saved and is now a beautiful and fantastic adult. The tragedy was that my daughters mother and I could never get along no matter how hard we tried.. I am a huge U2 fan, seen them live in concert twice and that was a great reaction guys. Thank you.

I find U2's music very healing, something about the frequency of it. It always lifts me up. That wonderful soft "Bono wail" we used to call it, that falsetto he lets loose, the jingly Edge guitar, the eeriness - there's something very special about these guys, they gave us so much beautiful music. Please do explore them - you have SO much to cover! All I Want Is You is epic and of a similar time as this one, and a great video. You asked for SPECIAL LIVE song👇🏻 U2 - "Bad" Live Aid 1985 This is the same concert that "Queen" performed at that everyone reacts to. Bono was singing their AMAZING song "Bad" and noticed a woman being crushed in the front row. He jumps off the stage to get her & DOES!!! Don't worry - the band never misses a beat. It will blow your mind that in a blink the band extended "Bad" for 5 minutes & Bono actually sang lyrics from other songs (Lou Reed & Rolling Stones) to "Bad's" melody to complete the 12 minutes. Ammmmmmazing. What song did they drop from their set to adjust for Bono jumping off stage? Pride (In The Name Of Love)

I hope George & Patrick chose it. ❤ See ya in the comments.

You're right, guys, this song is beautiful - I have it downloaded and listen to it a lot. The melody, the words, just gorgeous. I love the way it starts off soft and gradually gets louder and more powerful until it reaches an even more powerful crescendo at the end - gosh, it's beautiful as I said before. U2 have some great songs - one I really like is called Pride (In the Name of Love). It came out in 1984 and I remember hearing it for the first time in, I think, HMV shop in Edinburgh and I just fell in love with it and bought it immediately. Bono was so adept & brilliant lyrically, that he he could write songs with a surface meaning & a deeper more macro meaning as well.
