This is a very rare and treasured with or without you outro. Putting aside Bono’s talent or lack thereof on the guitar, this is such ad libbed brilliance, and so unusual for the boys and such a breath of fresh air. That Edge’s gorgeous wowy solo is actually hidden in this is mind boggling. Bono seemed to be actually having fun on the guitar god bless. This is a gem.

Though Bono’s vocals were a lot stronger in the 87-89 days, 92 has some amazing performances of this song, some of my personal favorites (Bono solos and all hahaha). Edge’s outro solo was top notch on this tour, breathtaking every time

From 4:00 to 5:15 is the moment that defines Bono as one of the greatest frontmen/singers. The song basically went wrong towards the end with JoyDivision medley, but Bono somehow launched it to even greater hights. Transcendent moment indeed.

I think when bono played the guitar at 4:05 to 4:29 was good, but after that it should have not changed to that lower sound, it should have repeated the love will tear us apart part at 4:22. At least he tried something different for the song like he they always do. Good performance.
