Yes the live concert was really this good. I will never forget the ZOO TV tour. Experiential music at its best. The crowd were crying at the end of the concert. It was like they had seen the future. It was the future.

You are totally right, I remember that a friend went to a Metallica concert a week before and he says that at the end of the show he wants to hit someone but at the U2 concert wasn't like that it was like a spiritual experience and there was people crying

NO IT ISNT ..ITS THE WORST.. SOUNDS LIKE SOME MUSLIMS CHANT TO SATAN (ALLAH)... REALLY SICK IF IT IS..
@deathwarmedup736 жыл бұрын
@@shaunclark425 It's a traditional Irish / Celtic chant. It sounds vaguely "Islamic" because if you take a little time to investigate the traditional, ancient roots music of different peoples all across the globe you soon realise the similarities between them, and that's because we share common spiritual instincts that are profoundly interwoven through sound and chant and that far pre-date the invented god of Islam, or yours.

It only got better IMO. The Dublin and Sydney shows are incredible, and those are just noticeable because of the quality audio of the bootlegs.

Saw Zoo TV 5 times. Melbourne twice and Sydney twice and one full Melbourne rehearsal. 3 of the shows I was front row. Second Melbourne concert and both Sydney shows. Got to see the infamous show where Adam was not present due to hangover. The ZooTV concerts are the best live concerts I've ever seen and ever will.

Brings back good memories. This was actually my first concert. 19 years old. I was in the 11th row. My friend got lucky calling ticketmaster, rather than waiting in line at some store for a wristband. Crazy that it's over 20 years. I got into U2 around '89, too late to see them in NY. Three years felt like forever back then. I feel like an old man, but I really miss those times. Biggest problem in life was how to get tickets. Yankee Stadium was also a great show. Thanks for posting.

My sense if that if this concert was in New York in 1992 then every ahole that trashed them a few years earlier would have been somewhat, I don't know, speechless!!! This same concert was my first in Minneapolis. I was speechless when I got Bono and the Edge's autograph in front of the Target Center. I still remember Bono coming on with the "I could have lost you" intro! Amazing. Thanks for the post!!!!

Thanks for showing this. Hope the powers at be don't get rid of this. Saw this concert version with Eric in Minneapolis (March, 1992 - The Pixies) and Kansas City with Tony Dutton (October, 1992 - Disposable Heros of Hypocrycy and The Sugar Cubes-Bjork).
