Iida honestly had this coming; he joined Todoroki's team in the Chivalry Battle over Midoriya's for his own gain of potentially getting higher points (even if he did not consciously know this), and that was how Todoroki learned how to defeat him in this battle

Head, capable of bouncing off cement and being "part of the plan" It doesn't matter what anyone says Iida straight up sent todoroki to the hospital with cranial fractures and forfeit his position in the competition for nearly killing him. Thats how this scene really ends.

This is bullshit because since there was only a little ice, the combustion happening from Iida’s jet engines would instantly melt the ice Shouto put. And also, Iida would have won if he DIDN’T GO THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF THE OFFSTAGE THAT WAS CLOSEST TO TODOROKI. ALSO, THE FORCE FROM DRAGGING TODOROKI FROM WHERE HE WAS STANDING TO THE OPPOSITE AREA OF THE STAGE SHOULD HAVE CREATED MORE THAN ENOUGH FORCE TO DIRECTLY THROW HIM OUT OF BOUNDS. Just saying though...

@@hereforthetea9635 Nah, Iida was right at the edge of the arena. He gathered more than enough momentum to be able to throw Todoroki off stage without his quirk. Realistically, Iida should have won. Todoroki only stalled his engines, Iida still has legs...It didn't make any sense for Iida to just stop, both physically and logically. With that much momentum gathered, there is 100% no way he could've lost it all at that exact moment. He would still be moving forward to deaccelerate. For him to stop moving like that would mean he intentionally used his strength to stop, which wouldn't make sense, winning-wise and considering the fact that doing this can cause injury (that's why runners keep running after the finish line). In an all-out battle, chances are high that Todoroki would win, but, for this fight, Iida should have 100% if it weren't for plot.
