Aweee, I'm a man,I too went through the same experience,feel in love with a friend,a friend who I never thought of falling for, but truly care about,we both went through hell,together,which it didn't stop her from searching for the right man for her,at 2 years later,after our first born daughter,she left me,she also told the neighbors,she had no one,makes me feel invisible,I knew I wasn't good enough,money wasn't the problem,it was the guys she be talking to,always trying to be there whenever they needed her,for boundaries,she is young,yet ,am a tool,for her stopping stool, whenever she is broken,she often finds other man to make her day, which I never did get jelous,I get angry,that she would keep continueing her search,of wants and needs,never know what or who is worth,till it is lost,but never gone.thank you for this film,and for letting me tell my experience.one thing she is pretty with out make up,way more prettier then sudden rush.

I loved everything except the ending, which we can learn a lesson from. I felt so sad for Ka Blia, for not being strong enough to let go of her abusive husband. I also felt even sadder for Zong, who was left alone twice. Everyone did an amazing job! ♥️

I believe this film is a great representation of all the women who feels helpless and are not mentally strong enough to leave. Even in this day and age some women are struggling to leave and not go back, there are some who feels the only way is to go back to their abusive husband, no matter the reason. Many women feels the only choice is to go back because not all is strong enough on their own to leave, should women who are dealing with domestic violence seek help and leave that abusive relationship? Yes, definitely but that’s not always the reality sadly. Yes the film was leaning towards more on the love the ex have for her, but over all it’s a great short film, definitely not a waste of potential at all is my opinion 🙂

What a disappointment she chose to go back to her abusive husband after all that. She could’ve decided to divorce her husband and stay with him instead. That would of been a better ending!

Domestic violence and a world where women have no other choice, but to return to an abusive relationship instead of being able to build a life they deserve. Even for a period piece this film was unrealistic and a waste of potential. The writer should have made this film mean something more than being forever friend zoned and lonely--because what are the chances that you find your ex-love interest's unconscious body after she attempted suicide to get away from the man she left you for? Then she leaves you again because she doesn't believe she can be with you because she's pregnant and she believes her abusive husband deserves to raise his own child right? These values are old fashioned. Even in the era this film took place in, there was a huge women's rights movement. Music was amazing.

Honestly, I like the potential, but I think it's a missed opportunity. It became a meaningless story at the end on top of falling into the the same issue we continue to see in our community, telling women to go back to their violent relationships instead of self value and self care. I know it's just for entertainment purposes but even here they could've thought out and tread more carefully with reality. Women can't seem to escape the continuous message that they don't have the right to put themselves first, their safety, their mental health, and their needs before others.
