In the beginning, it was for profit, but then it changed.. ( in the movie)

It was still for profit and he couldn’t have done it without it. He sold his car to help at least one person with a low budget. I don’t get why this doctor despises him because he did it for profit, he literally had no other income and was no billionaire...

I recently learned from reading Peter Staley’s memoir that one of the writers of the movie involved at one point was a straight up AIDS denialist
@GabrielNicho2 жыл бұрын
Ehh source? How can someone be an aids denialist?
@brinnd3302 жыл бұрын
@@GabrielNicho OK, I should rephrase: HIV denialist i.e. she didn’t think HIV was the cause of AIDS
@GabrielNicho2 жыл бұрын
@@brinnd330 I understood that. But still source?
@brinnd3302 жыл бұрын
@@GabrielNicho As I said, it was in Peter Staley's autobiography. There's a Vanity Fair article where you read the part of the book about Dallas Buyers Club

The inert Peptide t is a very interesting comment if you think about it
@nickygreenfingers5 жыл бұрын
The fact that Peptide t is inert means that the theory that HIV being the cause of AIDS is completely backed up by this Doctor saying this , if an inert substance has ended up giving longer life for Ron then it pretty much means that AZT was a total killer a DNA chain terminator & cell destroying chemo therapy drug . I feel bad for the people who were poisoned by the highly toxic ARV’s at the time , the only reason people live longer now is not because the meds are better but because they are far less toxic & don’t kill people so quickly any more

Peter Deusberg, please just listen to these people, Neville Hodgkinson also a must see , an eye opener to those who are not too controlled by emotion & subjective opinion, some of what you said contributes towards this story too , see if you can work it out?

RIP JPM. I remember. God do I remember! Its one year shy of 30 years now. Still difficult to talk about because most don't remember it as I do. And it wasn't just gay men. Love you still with all my heart. Until we meet again and I see that lovely face.

I’ve got a friend who’s hiv positive and he does drugs and he’s a dentist . It’s just a matter of time to get that phone call and go the the funeral : bad choices lead to hiv

Lot of people got it from blood transfusions in hospitals =P. Hardly a bad choice.
