Ed and k Tet(Kerala Teachers eligibility Test).I have been working as a teacher here for three years. I am currently doing a course International Montessori. The course will end in January.after i will come to Ajman for teaching.I though my job in Sharjah, I have no problem working. may be job is ok.I have two children. my kids joining there school.Is a degree compulsory to teach KG children .I have no one to give me the advice and counsel I need. Thanks for watching my videos and subscribing. You need a Bachelors Degree to teach in the UAE. I am not familiar with the ones you listed that you have. You will have to research if it is equivalent to a B.Ed. Otherwise, you may be able to apply for a teaching assistant job.

If you're asking recruitment of teachers, recruitment is always going on in the UAE. Hence, you have to keep searching for vacancies.

I am a primary school teacher in Greece with 4-5 years of formal classroom experience, and worked with immigrants and refugee students but I am much more interested in Administration roles. Do you think it's possible to switch? Do you think it's likely to get a job offer?

You can switch if you have a certificate or degree to match the job you're applying for.

I wonder if there are degrees for School Administration that allow you to work globally or you have to take location specific certificates that have different requirements in the US in UAE and other areas... In my country we do not have administration in schools that's why I was really ignorant regarding this topic. Our schools are run by the teachers and specifically the principal teacher and that's it, no more staff here unfortunately...

Hi Debz, Your contract can be 2 years or 3 years. It will also be renewed if your school is comfortable with the way you worked over the contract period. If you decide to leave before the contract period ends, you will have to give 60 days notice in most cases or pay back the school an amount.

Salary is based on years of experience and qualification. Each school has its own salary package so I can't tell you what to expect. Salary packages can range from 7000 to 18,000 with or without some benefits.

You can only teach at the level you trained for and you can only teach the subject you're qualified to teach. That is, whatever is written on your degree. Therefore, search for jobs in the field of your qualification.
