6:25:56 wassim sir says "more the resonance, more the decrease in bond order" 6:29:41 he says, " more the resonance more the increase in bond order" which one's right?!
@Madhu-n8p4 ай бұрын
Hey! Saw your question and wanted to help. In 6:25:56 the comparison is between Carbon atoms, where there is already double bond present but its changing into a partial double. So, there if Extend of Resonance is more the BO goes down. (Since resonance in this case results in double bond breakage.) but in 6:29:41 the comparison is between bonds between NH2 and C, here due to resonance it develops/forms a partial double bond. So when Extend of resonance is more, BO increases. Hope this helps! ❤

Mm u should check after removing the hydrogen whether the carbon is in resonance if yes u should not include the lone pair as in the first carbon there is possibility of resonance u should give priority to resonance and Do not consider the lone pair which is in conjugation so it is sp2 and in the second carbon there is no possibility of resonance u should consider the lone pair❤

Greater the size, lesser the stability.. so if sulphur is greater it is comparatively less stable than oxygen.. more over we learnt that 2p>3p in terms of stability.. hence (a) is more stable than (b) Hope it helps 😃

In this case, to find acid strength we are removing a hydrogen (to make it into a conjugated base, which is only seen for acidic strength) so, ch3 after removal of ahydrogen becomes ch2, which is sp2 hybridized. ❤
