It was President Trump decided to start to provide lethal aid and the Javelins. So the first Javelins were provided under the previous Trump administration. I can say Trump can be quite strong on Ukraine." If the American people do not remove Trump they are no better than the Russian civilians. Liar's Liar's and more Liar's the truth is just not in Trump or Putin, both are an insult to humanity. Peace will prosper without Putin and Trump.

@ Thanks for answering. There are parts of the Davos-speech that reminds me of a MAGA-rally. It’s just over the top. I do think he should adjust some of the more self grandizing language when talking to an international audience. «Accomplished more in four days than the previous adm did in four years» Why say that? I know, americans are different, but…I share some of the fear J. Stoltenberg expressed; «The fastest way to end a war is to lose it, but that won’t bring peace». I hope you are right. Don’t think neither of them want to be seen as a loser. By the way, I’m having a hard time understanding how anything but taking Kiev can be spun as a victory for Putin. Seems like a +20% ,-80% in terms of sphere of influence.

You're complaining about Trump and his "rhetoric" from everything about Greenland, (which we even here in America know is just Trump's way of getting the attention to keep that area safe from Russia trying to use the area. Because of it's strategic importance. He has no intention of buying Greenland.) to raising defense spending to 5 percent GDP, etc. You are snickering and making snide remarks about Trump's character and yet in the same breath saying it really costs hardly anything for the United States to give more money and weapons for Ukraine. Where do you think the United States 900+ billion dollar defence budget comes from? The American people. Our taxes. The United States has provided more than 65.9 billion dollars in Ukraine defense since February 2022. And an additional 69.2 billion dollars since 2014. We definitely know how important it is to get Russia out of Ukraine. And I hope we as NATO countries can stop the complaints and just all do what is right for Ukraine and the world. European countries have done more financial and humanitarian aid with some military aid. But that's all of Europe combined. It's been the United States by far who have provided the weapons and military aid for Ukraine. As well as manufacturing it all. And all I'm hearing from your guests is a lot of finger pointing. European politicians need to shut up and put up their share. Do what Poland and Estonia are doing. Putting their money where it's making a difference. 🇺🇸🇺🇦

We did the exact opposite and actually sat down with President Trump and addressed the issues we had especially the issue of defense spending…the reality is things have really changed when we decided to meet the 2% of GDP on defense..." 23 JAN 2025

The ceasefire is predicated on the notion of physical defenses similar to the Korean DMZ. This DMZ has held without issue for over 70 years. It requires, roads, railways, minefields,.bunkers, foreign bases, weapons production, eeapons shipments and other things. That alone will deter russia. (That airbase in Romania would be great as well) For many years Ukraine has brokered every possile sort of agreement with russia including trade, friendship pacts, leasing bases, territorial recognition and more. The russians broke their word every time. The only thing that can work is a Korean styled DMZ which is what the Kellogg plan is based on. Ukraine and russia will never have normal relations ever again so a ceasefire plus the DMZ is the best plan.
