If you think this is mad, there's also a Y-4 configuration that's basically this but where the two front arms only have a single motor. This is best used with a reverse rotation prop setup where the prop tips rotate away from the center of the camera/frame, that way when your "yaw" motors spin up, it also banks the front in the same direction that you're yawing to, rather than fighting it.

the wings nav lights are on the wrong sides. An easy way to remember it.... NO RED PORT LEFT in the bottle navigation lights for boats and aircraft are Left side is port (red), and right side starboard (green) The "no" reminds to give way to red light Entering a harbor (or airport) you will keep the red light/buoy to the left side and green lights/buoys on the righthand side I Know its just a RC wing, but if your going to use red and green theme, might as well do it correctly? :D

Some li-ions can go down to 2.5v per cell. But its all about the cells thats used

Many years ago I bought a drone kit when was in Singapore or Hong Kong, can't remember, that was a Y6 as well. Never ended up building it.

I wants it! Just to be like hey guys ever seen this! lol Cool looking drone but man it could use a tune, D trill, wobble wobble, bad yaw wash out. I bet even with the big battery it can be tuned out for the most part tho. Just like if it had a GoPro mounted as well.

Hey Stew, Na, I don't have a use for it, I didn't like the original Y quad, I don't love flying with leds at night, during the summer we do most of our flying at night. Thanks again for the video

Unfortunately the novelty is the only thing this drone has going for it😞I had one of these earlier in the year and I had a lot of issues trying to get it to fly half decent!and the build quality and general design was terrible, Loctite was required for the motors as they vibrated loose several times,also because of how they are mounted they only sit on like a 2mm plate not the arm itself,so unfortunately can’t imagine it to be very durable either,save your money and buy a Evoque or similar for the same money.
