I _really_ love the intro to this track. It kicks in just as you begin to realize, Gogeta's not just out to beat Broly, this is a grudge match with only one way out. Then, it swells as the viewer realizes it isn't even that much- Gogeta's a merciless executioner, and Broly's little more than a scared victim at this point.

The swell from 1:20 to 1:35 into that climax tho, best part of the song that led to the best part of the film imo. Gogeta charging that kamehameha was like the pendulum swinging back full force in such a short time

when i saw Gogeta charging the Kamehameha i just wanted to jump into my screen and run up to Gogeta and stop him from firing it at Broly and be like "dude thats enough Broly isn't evil there is no reason to kill him"

Goku gave Broly a chance, he didn't take it. Gogeta saw Broly as nothing but a threat, and he needed to put him down. Gogeta gets the shit done, emotions excluded. THIS IS GOGETA. A ruthless warrior with no remorse, he sees a threat, he will eliminate it.

At this point Goku and Vegeta recognize that he’s too dangerous to be left alive. They let him survive and the planet, their wives, children, friends, everything will be destroyed.

Gogeta's gotta use a Galick Kamehameha, if not Big Bang. Final Kamehameha is Vegetto's thing. Man. Goku needs some variety in his moves.

Galick Kamehameha would make more sense especially b/c in the movie before they fused they did it separately and Broly smashed through both so easily👀 so it would have been cool to see a Fused version of both attacks to be the Final attack😏

Thevenomous funnily enough, final kamehameha was originally gogeta’s thing. Honestly I think final kamehameha fits gogeta more, as it’s THE finishing move.

If it was for DBZ Broly, it would be heavy metal with rock singer voice all the way, but with DBS Broly they knew that his character is very different - the majestic yet sombre tone of the orchestral music reflects his tragic and sympathetic characteristics.

Okay so I'mma explain this to you. It was at this point of the movie, it wasn't a fight we all wanted to see anymore. It was a one sided beatdown of a poor man who knew nothing expect a monster as a friend and his father. I didn't know how to feel about this part at all, I was just too stunned to say anything, and the whole theater was quiet at this part. For the first time in history, we see an innocent man, beated down like a dog, while his Sayain instincts force him to keep fighting, to fight an impossible battle. Even without his sanity, you could hear Broly's pain and agony in his voice, just yelling "Stop! I don't have any control over my body and I don't want this!". But Gogeta didn't know that, Goku offered Broly a chance and he didn't take it. Gogeta is the ultimate and ruthless warrior, who saw Broly as nothing but a threat that needed to be put down. It wasn't a fight to save the universe, it was an animal being put down. Gogeta put his all into that Kamehameha, intending to kill Broly, to destroy evey cell, to rid the Earth of ANY atom that might be left of Broly, and this is what caused him to come back to his senses. One minute he goes insane, the next he regains consciousness and realizes he's 4 seconds away from dying. Never in the history of Dragonball as the hero felt like a villain.
