They'll never get back together UB40 original band members loved them from the first time I heard them my first concert here in Scotland I was pregnant with my son but didn't know and he loves UB40 but has to be Ali Campbell on lead vocals and when Ali Campbell and Mickey virtue left in 2008 we were gutted because there's no one could take over Ali Campbell on lead vocals his voice is class and to think that it was 16yrs ago that Mickey virtue and Ali Campbell left and a wee while later the legend astro left as well but my son is a 40yr old man now and he's been listening to UB40 original band members his hole life and even in my woom lol because I was pregnant with him at my first concert and sadly 2 of the original band members are no longer with us as in astro and Brian Travers rip both of you and fly high astro pure legend until the end xxxx

No replacement will ever be possible. I've stopped going to UB40 concerts since Aly has left the band. (How right he was btw. Many bandmembers went bankrupt due to bad management. But, they wouldn't listen to Aly. Were even mad at Aly)

I think Ali's voice is class 2024 and I still go back to this song his voice is class and legendary sadly 2 of the original band members are no longer with us as in astro rip and Brian Travers rip so really robin's band members original only have 4 original band members as Mickey virtue left along with Ali Campbell in 2008 and to the person who put up that robin's band have released 4 albums since Ali Campbell left or as you say without Ali can you name them so I can look for them as this will be interesting that's if you don't mind

As a woman who is about to be 59 years old I can fondly remember meeting Eddie from Fiction Factory we became good friends he is a lovely gentleman, I was in Perth at a well known pizza restaurant in Scott St it was about Christmas Time I was there with my family, and I looked over to a table and there was Eddie he was with his family we spoke for a bit and he told me he was living in Dunkeld which is just outside Perth I always sing the song Feels Like Heaven I hope Eddie is well and just maybe he will remember me. Because of my disability I have not been allowed to work for 4 years. I have enjoyed earning my own money to get something going despite my disability... Now, unfortunately, I only get an EU pension and that's a joke. 327 a year. Well, I always try to finance my concerts with you... Sometimes I get a ticket as a present or something... I would love to talk to you and you briefly backstage, that would be mega... maybe it will work out one day... By the way, I bought something really cool from you at an auction... I'll tell you when I get the chance. I don't want to show it to the public... I don't want anyone to run me ragged...???🌹♥️ I think it's so nice that you've spent your whole career standing up for people who aren't doing so well. That's one of the things that makes you so lovable, you know that. I often feel like I've known you forever when I watch your interviews. I've practically studied you...😊 I share a lot of your views on politics, music and people and life in general. I share your great sense of humor and your optimism. You are just as ambitious as I am, which is what you need with a handicap... you know what, I had the same virus "Eppstein Barr Virus" at the same time as you. It wasn't nice. I was also in hospital and thank God I had my MP3 player with your music. I am always very optimistic and always tell myself when I get up in the morning that every day above ground is a good day. No matter what. And with your music, it works. Believe it or not, you probably saved my life in 2018. I was in hospital for almost 1/2 a year in a coma in intensive care with a very severe double lung. I also had acute kidney failure, which gave me blood poisoning... Anyway, the doctors told my parents at the time that they absolutely had to come to the hospital because they didn't know if I would make it through the night. The doctors then asked my parents if I liked listening to music and my dad said yes from morning till night. The doctors wanted to know what kind of music and whether he listened to a particular singer or band. Since everyone knew that I was a huge fan of yours, my brother had to go to my apartment and get all your CDS, he even brought records... They then got me a CD player and gave me headphones while I was in a coma and played your music. After almost 3 days, I actually woke up and slowly recovered. I also had to learn everything EU and the whole thing twice. Once in 2009 and 2018 !!! I still thank you for that today and would love to tell you that in person. I still have a picture of the intensive care unit where your CD is on the bedside cabinet... That's why I'm coming to Manchester now... In Amstterdam and Cologne, they wouldn't let me see you, even though I'm 1.40 m tall and won't hurt anyone, let alone you... 😊 Now I was just about to write, "Honey, I'm a fighter, just like you!!!" Sorry...😊 I always donated to your foundation too, even if it was only small amounts because I couldn't do more, but they came from deep in my heart Ali...I always think you're not born for yourself are you???❤️❣️ Do You really are an incredibly lovely man Alistair and your wife is so lucky to have you as her husband. Your smile is so sweet. I have turned down 3 marriage proposals in my life because something was always missing. Unfortunately, that's exactly what I always find in men who are married like you...😔 Well, and then there are those who are only into fashion dolls... plus my handicap, where you always have to prove that you're not stupid in the head, if you know what I mean... That happened to me, we went to see Ali, Astro and Mikey absolutely brilliant. On my way home I saw a poster for UB40 performing at the local racecourse, booked tickets, got there and it was ub40 - the others. We were so disappointed and spent the time in the bar. RIP Astro

That happened to my nephew and his wife they thought they were going to see Ali Campbell when they got there it was Duncan Campbell on lead vocals and he went off his head (my nephew ) he wasn't the only one it was here in our hometown Scotland and the fact they had to wait because there was still restrictions and finally when they could go it was Duncan Campbell and my nephew and his wife were shouting all sorts and they weren't the only one's and he said that he waited all that time as his son bought him the tickets for his 50th birthday and when I saw him after it he was still raging and his words never ever would he go to see that UB40 and Duncan Campbell was fricking dismall and Gilly g he said was a plastic version of astro rip what I can't get is why didn't robin Campbell take over lead vocals ?
