the lyrics omg as well as the flawless music the lyrics would stop wars and make the world better if the country leaders were proper 40 fans, Present Arms, One in Ten and Food for thought 3 of my favourites among many of quality tracks that other groups would be proud of just to have one of them, the lyrics of their older stuff shows how intelligent they were, amazing.

I always loved how UB40 have so many songs that at a first listen are chilled laid back reggae songs but when you listen to the lyrics there are so many important messages and deep stories. 'The Pillow' is a personal fav!

I was in HMH and in Matiniplaza in 2003 and this Homegrown concert was so great. 2004 /2005 Who are you fighting for tour, also HMH and Ziggo dome was so good. Live at their very best imo. So sad that UB 40 isn't together anymore. Aly's brother Duncan is NOT Aly and Aly IS the lead/UB 40. His voice is so special,so UB 40. Duncan can't sing these beautiful songs as Aly does. He's a Folk singer, not a reggae singer. Pls boys, get together again, become THE UB 40 for all your hardcore fans. Forgive eachother, life is too short for lawsuits about the band's name etc. THIS is UB40, fan since I was just a kid, am 54 now and still need my daily old/real/true UB 40 with Aly as the lead and Astro, the Rastafari.

Thanks boys for all the great and sweet memories, especially the great concerts here, in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Groningen. This tour was great as was the 'whom are you fighting for' tour after 'Home-grown tour. My heart hurts to see Brian and Astro, in a few weeks, both gone to heaven. "Brian, play your beloved sax and Astro, sing with your warm voice" and now, together again. That was a dream of mine, the old gang, all together on stage again, here in the Netherlands, for new, more memories. Not gonna happen anymore. Dream is over, forever. So thanks boys, old gang, for all those sweet, great memories. RIP Brian and Astro, you both won't be forgotten, ever.
