this is a very personal video, it's just my own personal perspective of the mess that is ouat. it's my OWN perception, my own interpretation, as I am entitled to it. I don't wanna hear about hook doing this or regina doing that, I've seen the show many times, I literally just wanted to make a video that matches my perception and I did it because I can. I only used canon scenes and dialog that actually played out on our screens. if my perception of these canon scenes upsets you, I'm sure there are hundreds of pro cs videos you can watch instead. or, you know, just make your own. thank you.

The description make this even more beautiful than it actually is. This is the "dark side " of Ouat, we can say , and in my opinion only the ones who capture this are able to really understand the show. I love the way you described Emma's storyline. She is locked in her life, always, and the only one who see her as she really is, is Regina. Because they are so similar, Regina would never judge her for her choices, but despite this, Emma's life keep on keeps her distant, so close, yes, but so distant. And this all make their story so sad. But...yes, this is what Ouat really is.

woah this is really important. there's definitely the whole idea where Emma shouldn't be responsible for everyone's happiness, but specifically hook's. she shouldn't have to carry that weight and responsibility. it's really sad that csers romanticize that.

And you really see it in how different Hook and Regina handle Emma’s darkness. I never realized much they were at odds with each other. This video really emphasized how they were the ones who cared the most and kept butting heads over it.

This is SO good! I really can't understand the people who don't like Emma because of her character, because she has such a beautiful soul. She's so torn inside, she's lonely and yes, she might not seem likeable, but it's only her protective walls. She tries to survive all the things going on around her and everyone wants her to be perfect and to function and if there's something not working out so well, they turn away from her, even her parents. The only person who is brutally honest and takes her side and can understand her is Regina. Such a great edit, I've alredy watched it several times!

As usual, I love your editing. In this case, I especially liked the part toward the end where you lined up the voice overs so well with the song to make them fit together perfectly, but the rather fast editing throughout the whole video worked very well, too with the longer voice overs. Contentwise I obviously really enjoyed it as well, cause I agree that Regina is much better for and with Emma than Hook ever was. So it was interesting seeing some of their scenes in direct comparison. And since Emma's side of things isn't vidded as frequently in this fandom, as Regina's is, I feel like there was also some more novelty to it than with Regina centric videos. So it was basically a really interesting mini character / relationship study with great editing. And I really enjoyed the combination 😊

OMG I love this so much! I value her character so much, it has always been my favourite and to see where she ended up wounds me in unspeakable ways. I loved the part where the scene "It's another wall, Emma" comes up and then the scene in Camelot where Emma saves Robin comes up and it finishes the previous scene returns with "The truth" and then the part where they look at each other when Regina walks away!!! I lost it 😭 This is perfect. This sequence was perfect because that's exactly how I interpreted it. This is so good, you rock!

This is just so wonderful and accurate. Emma has been drained by the expectations of those who see her as the Savior and she needs people to see her, for just herself, with all of her strength and bravery, as Emma. I will always trust that Regina has her back, no matter what.

First of all amazing editing! So I am not a big sq shipper ( i am not against it in any way and would have been totally fine with it being canon, i was just never really behind it (the family situation creeped me a bit out...Regina is her step grandma)) But your videos (this one in particular) made me change my mind a bit. So I never hated cs, I just didn't really care about it. As long as it made them happy it was fine with me BUT like I sad you changed my mind. He loves her, I would never question that. But he is just not right for her. I am not going to say that he is a complete horrible person, he is just broken and messed up and he relied on his relationship with Emma to fix him. And Emma made him a better (just a better, not a good) person but in the process destroyed her self a litte. And that is the problem I am having with him. It's nice that he found someone to change for, but this someone is not responsible for his happiness. He can't just blame her for his misery, just because he can't handle her problems. That is not how a relationship works! Also the were on and off so many times that their relationship felt so short for me. Like they didn't even have a normal month as a couple and then the are getting married?! Just my opinion... I am still not a hardcore sq shipper but I definitely prefer it haha

He was the dark one when those scenes happened. He had no humanity because emma made him the dark one... Emma. It wasnt his fault. Regina was once a villain too, she burnt down villages with children and innocent people in them... They both have dark sides, this video just highlighted Reginas good side and Hooks bad :/

I think thats one thing i didn't like about the show, or shows like this. Everything is not so black and white, people have good in them, and they have evil in them, that shouldn't be an overarching matter in how other see you. Regina did some really bad things and was repearly punished for it, and some of the things happened to her and she still got the blame for it. Emma didn't want the price of what being the "savior" was but she took the place and handled the best she could, but that didn't mean they needed to keep her in some sort of glass cage, she is human, she's bound to make mistakes just like everyone did, but somehow when she did it was worse. She had everyone's "happiness" expectations put upon her and no one checked on her until it was too late.

this is amazing and you are so talented😍 i wish the people in the comments could just appreciate what the video is about (emma) instead of hating on killian. throwing the word "abuse" round is sick bc they clearly have no idea what the word means and how many lives it destroys. hook died for emma and has stood by her everyday (other than when he was the dark one for like 2 eps) and never left her side. he literally died for her. people forget that regina too was a villain (probably the most evil) and she tried to kill emma on many occasions. people are so hypocritical.

speaking as someone who lived with and saw emotional abuse in my house for nearly 2 decades, I do know what the word means, and hook's behavior strikes too many red flags for me to ever be able to ignore. now, you're obviously entitled to your own opinion, but saying "they clearly have no idea what the word means" is quite honestly not just wrong, but immensely disrespectful. thanks for the comment!
