Listening to this, I can see, hear, remember so clearly all the 2418-b Probes I have destroyed with Fwiffo's BUTT missiles, all the tedious cat-and-mouse chases against Ilwrath Avengers and swarms of Umgah drones decimated by volleys of hellbore cannons and the occasional panic as dozens of my crewmen are incinerated by antimatter in a split-second, all the Thraddash battlegroups I relentlessly hunt and destroy in order to have them speak pig latin, every Ur-Quan Dreadnought and Kohr-Ah marauder slowly chipped down by Fwiffo, infiltrated by Orz space marines, and demolished by the broadside attacks of the Vindicator alike, fighting the Druuge for a bomb built by the precursors, every nervewracking fight with the Mycon podships as the Vindicator narrowly dodges plasmoids and planetary collisions in hopes of slingshotting close enough to melt them before they can regenerate their crewmen and reverse all my progress, every VUX intruder sending curtains of green limpets to impede the Eluders and Cruisers whittling them down with missiles, and every time I pitched Chenjesu Broodhomes against Melnorme Traders or Mmrnhrmn X-forms, or Syreen Penetrators to steal Pkunk crewmen. I have a huge nostalgia for this game and undoubtedly part of that is its music. Every song is a masterpiece in a little game made all those years ago by a small team of amateurs and enthusiasts that all came together to make a this unique little timeless masterpiece - The Ur-Quan Masters. Few may remember it but I am proud to be one of them.
