The only problem I see among many food delivery workers is they will purchase an expensive e-bike and work only a few hours. In order to recoup the cost of the e-bike, you'll need to deliver between 3-5 hundred orders. Otherwise, you keep your road bike and save the money. When I was doing deliveries, I used a 3 speed bicycle and mode over 1K which was excellent for a part time job.

ebike is better, i payed 2000£ for mine, payed it off quick & can continue to make 3 times the wages at 10 times less the effort.... Only downside to ebike is theft, keep ur eye on it and lock it always!

Working with e-bikes is ok to me.. i personaly work with Wolt (food/other stuff delivery service) and i use an regular Fatbike as its so good for winter season (Finland) and keeps me in shape plus lower costs less risks for theft but i see some couriers that use e-bikes or e-scooters but many of them are not not working during winter as batteries runs out faster or they use a regular bike or car. e-bikes gives you range and speed which might increase your earnings but comes with extra costs as parts are more expensive and you need to charge batteries. In the end each courier uses tools that they want or have access to.

I got from a highly highly recommended website called custumebikes.com... The may have their webiste down, if you can't find it, ask me again at the end of the summer and I will contact them as I have the owners watsapp... He had issues over the pandemic over the winter thats last i heard from him... My ebike i got in 2019 september, never had an issue with it, while everyone around me had headache issues always
