Holiday hangover seems to have passed in DFW. Rides seem normal, and they even added a Mon-Thurs quest. Haven't seen one of those in a while.

I have a request if it is possible. Could you record your screen of 1 entire ride? I’m curious what happens when you actually arrive at a pickup location. Do you text them that you have arrived? Do you call them? How is the ride ended once you drop them off. If it’s possible, I’d love to see how it works on both Uber and Lyft. Long time channel watcher here. Thanks for reading this.

Thanks for watching and for subscribing! Yes I can do that. Typically, they are waiting or walking out for the pickup. There are times I have to wait. Every once in a while I will text them that I have arrived if I have waited for 2 or 3 minutes. Drop offs are quick and easy and usually include a thanks and drive safe from the passenger(s). I will record a couple full rides over the next couple of days to give you a better idea.

Yep, I tried to drive the Kings game that night and never saw surge with either app. Only did one ride wasn’t bad, a Lyft ride that was $8 for about 3 miles but became $13 with the tip she left. It was rough going this week as well. Only drove yesterday during parts of the morning and evening rush along with the Justin Timberlake concert and finished with $97 in just under 5 hours, which included $12 in tips

I was going to drive last night but my wife made plans for us so I went out and drank martini's at dinner. I was wondering how it was going to go after the concert. I tell you what, I am ready to get back to some form of normal. FYI: The International Wine Symposium takes place the last week of the month. These people party and they are all over the place for events after the daily conference let's out at 5pm. I killed it last year during tis week. Maybe I'll see you out there. Thanks for watching.

@ thanks for the info on that. Good to know. Yeah am ready to see some form of normal as well. Would like to see surges more again as those are usually my main motivation for driving. Maybe I will see you out there as well.
