Depending on where you live as long as you pull the battery most of these won't steal your bike because they know in order to ride it they're going to have to put a good amount of money into it, so it deters most thieves, but if you live in a really grimy City where people pretty much steal every single thing that isn't bolted to the ground, then I would definitely lock it up, I use a tracker or a tag on top of a lock.

If you plan on upgrading every aspect of your bike get a surron if you plan on only upgrading a couple things and mostly keeping the bike stock get a Talaria
