For a market like Kenya they are crazy putting such age limits. There are so many 2000-2010 cars in good condition, and more comfortable than some of these newer cars. But I guess due to corruption they feel the only way to ensure a car is in good condition is for it to be newer.

I think you meant bolt,Uber doesn’t do that.bolt ndioinakosanisha riders na driver,rider aki request anaonyeshwa 510 for insurance then anapewa discount ya like 110,but when the driver receives the request anaonyeshwa hiyo 510,then shock inampiga at the end of the trip akiletewa 400.i think they do that to entice both riders and drivers before the trip,wanapeana discount to riders ndio watumie bolt then wanaonyesha driver before watoe discount ndio aaccept trip.drivers beware,always ask riders if pesa umeonyeshwa before you start the trip is the same amount on their end
