James, I highly suggest making a base underground because it seems Ogres will just destroy everything you have if they spawn near a house they can reach. Just try to find a cave system not too deep and make sure there are no other cave systems in the area, just light every area up that you want to occupy. You can place stone all throughout the tunnel to make a long barrier so it's unlikely if an ogre does spawn in that cave system that it's very very far away from you and will not break anything. And if you need to go mining, just make a single block hole and put a ladder in it, then you'll eventually find a cave system or make your own.

Everyone that still thinks this is recorded one episode at a time needs to go to twitch. James usually streams thursday-sunday at night. Hours of streams, and the videos are archived for you to watch afterward. Hes even organized it so you can watch the gameplay parts of whatever game without the boring stream inbetweens.
