Ford Mondeo Turnier 2.0 TDCI (2017) - POV Country Road and Autobahn Drive

You are driving to high gears on that twisty roads. Most of that turns you should take on 4-th gear especially in that conditions.

I have a question. What is the quality like? I mean assemblage and materials in the cabin, dashboard, central tunnel, door panels? I have a Ford Focus and I am disappointed about the quality of assemblage and poor materials inside. Things are not well screwed together and there is an annoying rattle coming from both front doors during driving when tarmac is not perfectly smooth. Is that the case with Mondeo too? Is it the same level as a Skoda Superb?

had my 2016 mondeo for 3 years now and I gotta say the cabin is very quiet. Had a 2011 5 Series before and the plastics in the seats started squeaking at around 100 k km. Just hitting 100 k in the Mondeo this month and it still feels like a "new" car. Part of it is because I take pretty good care of it but it is surprising really that a Ford seems better screwed together than a BMW. Maybe I just had bad luck with the BM, idk. It had the comfort seats too with loads of adjustment, so they werent the cheapest seats on the options list. And in terms of road noise they are pretty similar, and in my experience lower than any Skoda.

which year is your Focus? I wanna buy a 2017 1,5 TDCI. I currently have a Seat Leon 2005 and I'm very happy with it's build quality. No noises at all inside the cabin. I'm not sure yet about Ford build quality. I would hate if it makes rattle noises. Maybe I should upgrade to a newer version of the Seat Leon but I don't like the VW engines, very unreliable. Also, I have the option to buy a Mondeo 2016, 2.0 TDCI with 300k kms on the clock for the same price as the Focus with 200k km with the 1,5 TDCI. Should I go for the Mondeo with more kms ?

@@AC-db4ek my focus was made in 2013... And most of the noises comes from door panels when the engine is running low because of vibrations. But it is not a justification.

@@AC-db4ek that mondeo has got too many km in my opinion. I don't know but the quality of this new focus looks tremendously improved with better finishes and carpeting in the door compartments. Do you think the VW engine is not reliable? I have always thought it is extremely good even if i never drove it. Only once i had a skoda karoq as rental car with 1.6 tdi and DSG transmission and i liked it.

@@alfredocesarano757 VW engines became unreliable when they started adding direct injection and turbos. You can check the reviews on youtube. From 2005 VW engines are bad.
