It is very important to recognise when you are feeling down, which you are doing. Is alcohol the answer, probably not, however, you seem to have the willpower to control your intake so if it makes you feel better then go for a drink. Life is too short. When it starts to adversely affect your health, seek help. Always good to have a friend to talk to as well👍

I drink at home regularly as a women it is not easy going to pub alone as i have few friends. Deep down i like socializing 🎉🎉 too much booze i get down in company im happier. I am aware alcohol can be a depressant..

Drinking on your own at home is sometimes not very good, but take the plunge and go into a random pub and just sit there and see what happens. You might make a few friends .

Had some happy times there, my cousin and family lived on Haughton Hall road, I used to stay there on the weekend sometimes so not far to stagger home after the chippy of course lol.... Hi Nik, There is a thing called Seasonal blues, You or I may not have addressed it correctly but from October through to March approaching Spring time many people do become affected by the change of Clocks by that 1'hr difference I happen to be one of them it's a horrible experience and often you can become very low with it, just a few weeks to go now as the nights are getting shorter but the days are getting longer and lighter again.
