Spb സ്ഥിരമായി ഇളയരാജയുടെ ഗാനമേളകളിൽ പാടിയിരുന്നു...ഒരു ഗാനമേളക്കായി അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വിളിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഇരട്ടി പ്രതിഫലം ചോദിച്ചു...രാജ കൊടുക്കാൻ തയ്യാറായില്ല...spb ആ പ്രോഗ്രാമിൽ നിന്ന് പിന്മാറി...ശേഷം spb ഒരു musical world tour നടത്തി... അപ്പോഴാണ് ഇളയരാജ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് റോയൽറ്റി ചോദിച്ചത്...തന്റെ പാട്ടുകൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു കോടികൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു..അതിന്റെ share തനിക്കും വേണം എന്നായിരുന്നു ആവശ്യം...ആദ്യം spb അത് അംഗീകരിച്ചില്ല..ഇളയരാജയുടെ പാട്ടുകൾ ഒഴിവാക്കി പരിപാടി നടത്തി...പക്ഷെ വിജയമായില്ല...(അപ്പോഴും റഹ്മാൻറെ ഗാനങ്ങൾക്ക് റോയൽറ്റി കൊടുക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു).പിന്നെയുള്ള പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളിൽ റോയൽറ്റി കൊടുത്തുകൊണ്ട് spb ഇളയരാജയുടെ ഗാനങ്ങൾ പാടുകയും ചെയ്തു...പിന്നീട് പിണക്കങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെ തീർന്ന് അവർ ഒന്നിച്ചു...ഇളയരാജയുടെ പരിപാടികളിൽ അദ്ദേഹം പാടുകയും ചെയ്തു...അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മരണം വരെ ആ ആത്മബന്ധം നിലനിൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു...ഇലയരാജയെപോലുള്ള മഹാന്മാരെപ്പറ്റി ഒക്കെ വായിൽ തോന്നിയത് വിളിച്ചു പറയുന്നതിന് മുൻപേ കാര്യങ്ങൾ അറിയാൻ ശ്രമിക്കൂ സുഹൃത്തേ....ഗോസിപ്പുകൾ മാത്രം കേട്ട് ഇതുപോലുള്ള പ്രോഗ്രാം ചെയ്യുന്ന ദിനേഷിനോടൊക്കെ എന്ത് പറയാൻ

For example, it was the fight between IR and SPB during the end of 70's and beginning of 80's that motivated IR to dump SPB and give those chances to Malaysia Vasudevan and Mano. SPB hated Mano, and had once humiliated Mano in a live music program in front of all artists and audience. The question is why are these abusers making up stories and raking up private life of the icons like Yesudas? It is a mental decease. They are mostly grudging the money made by the icons. These people who have nothing worthwhile to contribute to the society or to do with their life envy and abuse people like Yesudas and exploits the name of SPB etc for the abuse.
