I heard this song in a funeral service. Didn’t know the lyrics, didn’t know the name. I spent months searching for it and even mailed the organizing team of the funeral. No response ….. and there today I came across this Google voice hum feature. Hummed a part of the song I knew and My Gawd this song is so so beautiful

Let it be a reminder that we are not all a bunch of hollowskulls :) Study of systemic theology, apostolic tradition, church history, church councils, and philosophy is the basis of a Christian firm in his or her faith. Our music, our art, our buildings are erected in the Glory of our God we adore with all of our hearts. He whom we dedicate our life's work, he whom we suffer for. It breaks my heart when the Christian who devoted years of study, discernment and reflection by which a devout Christian decides what they believe is written off as a Stone Age lunatic with only half a brain.

Just beautiful and perfect for today! Ubi Caritas is the prayer/hymn traditionally sung at Holy Thursday (Maundy Thursday) Mass during Holy Week. I love Audrey's take on traditional hymns, and I love her originals as well, and her use of scripture and prayer in song. She has been blessed with immense talent, and a beautiful angelic voice!

I love this. The arrangement and the images really capture the timeless feel of the words - it makes me feel closer to the Saints in Heaven with the Lord, and the Church as CS Lewis describes it : "... the Church as we see her spread out through all time and space and rooted in eternity, terrible as an army with banners." Even though it's Screwtape's assesment I love it!! And this song captures some of the feeling of that quote for me. Pure genius.

Dear Audrey, I need to thank you for your very Spirit filled ministry that has been with me through the most difficult years of pain and suffering and hardship that I couldn't even begin to describe. Because of the Great Love of God, who is Good ALL The time, He sent your music to me and has kept my eyes on Christ and on His love that is so unbelievably good even when it is dark all around. How I praise Him for you sharing your most annointed and beautiful gifting with me and with the world, for no matter the reason, there are many caught in darkness by their own doing or by Satan buffering the soul, that need to hear angels and see The Light to keep them choosing to move forward and lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus the Christ. You have been, and still are like the sounds of angels all around me and the calling forward towards the Light that leads to everlasting love, peace, healing, and joy. Sometimes here on earth and sometimes around the corner where all the Saints wait and where all our tears are wiped away and pain is no more. I also want to say that I love how you share your own real journey through your songs. I love that you are "real" and don't pretend that when u come to Christ it is always health and wealth. But it is ALWAYS COMPLETE AND AMAZING LOVE OF GOD AND A DEVOTION TO US THAT KEEPS US ON THE "road less traveled" knowing that whatever we may face in this life, when given to God, He will make beautiful "in His time" . I am so glad u made the hymn collection. I know it was made when u felt u had less direction. UT God knew and used that time for His glory and these great hymns transcend time and still touch lives each day. I also have deeply enjoyed your latest album "Evergreen" - wow. And another favourite is the one with the bird on the front? I can't remember the name but again - wow. Thank u so much. Never ever doubt that God has chosen you and given you an annointing that is undeniable even through recordings. Do not be suprised by the buffering of Satan for you are making a great difference and so you, like many of the Saints will find yourself under attack. That is not lack of faith or all the disciples and many others were without faith and that simply is not true! Trust in the Lord. Lean not on your own understanding. In All your ways acknowledge Him and He will will be your fire by night and your cloud by day and make straight your path. I love you Sister in the Lord.
